The sound at the beginning of that song (the main riff) is made by rubbing an Allen wrench on the strings
Rage and RTJ (who just dropped a banger of an album) together while the world burns is borderline erotic
Saw Rage & Wu Tang together in Indy back in like ‘98 but was faaaaaar too young to understand most of the message or it’s significance. A kid from my home town collapsed and died of a heart attack during Know Your Enemy. It was only a few songs into the set but they stopped the show for a while while the medics worked on him and ambulance pulled up. It was weird going from that straight in to Fistful if Steel or whatever.
Just got an email for a new date in Spring 2022, it had been rescheduled for June 3rd here. Now March 31st
I would have "Down Rodeo" in a top 5 list FYI. "Down Rodeo", "No Shelter", "Vietnow" and I'd have to think about the other two
I actually slept on the Renegades album mostly until recent years. "Maggie's Farm" gets me hype af. "Pistol Grip Pump" as well
"Zack de la Rocha sometimes changes the lyrics in the second verse from "Some of those that work forces are the same that burn crosses" to "Some of those that burn crosses are the same that hold office" when playing live" Oh snap, didn't know that
Saw the RTJ post on IG and thought this was this year. My Girl and I planned an entire vacation to Raleigh for the 31st of July this year last night at dinner. We were gonna fly in, catch the show then rent a car and drive to Maggie Valley where her folks have a home and visit them. Went as far as to call her dad to make sure they’d be there all summer. Super excited the both of us. Got home and caught a tweet that said plainly it was 2022. Infinite sadness
Did a little Raleigh trip for Tool back in November 2019. Did concert one night and Hurricanes hockey game one night. Went to a sweet beer garden before the game. I can find the name if you’re interested Edit: yeah it's just called Raleigh Beer Garden haha https://theraleighbeergarden.com/
Was supposed to go in Oakland last year. Detroit will be the plan now Bulls on Parade Maria Born of a Broken Man Bullet in the Head Tire Me Could really just lump all songs together and be happy but I think I listen to these most often. Such good music to smoke to while getting pumped for a baseball or football game
People of the sun and bulls on parade could honestly be my last two. I didn’t want to pick all same album and I hate picking singles, but yeah they’re that good
Battle of LA came out while I was in 7th grade. We had gotten into RATM via my friend's older brother a few years before and I remember how excited we all were for that album
