Because there are a whole lot of people in India and it probably showed signs that something was about to happen.
There was a fight and shooting at Lake Butler FL that made the news in Gainesville. Somebody posted a link (the comments are toxic) but the girl getting her wig partially pulled off and the guy yelling about her coconut head has me crying.
I clicked play without looking at who posted it. A few seconds in I thought “oh this is probably a pearl post” lol
lmao the dogs face at the end. Unhinged. But cute. https://www.reddit.com/r/aww/comments/142wa92/doggos_first_day_back_at_work_after_having_a_week/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1
I dunno about the world but Louisiana and Texas has to be best in the US. I have no clue about anything in New Mexico. Right off the top of my head France, Italy and Japan would beat them out.
I wouldn’t even know what could be considered New Mexico cuisine? Seems like it would be covered with Texas cuisine unless it’s just a much better version of authentic Mexican food.
I’ve never been but I’d have to think Italy would be up there. Never ate at any real nice place when I was in Paris plus I wouldn’t have known if it was good anyways at 18.
France and Japan are no brainers. Conveniently also the places that can compete with the US on quality of ingredients.
There’s no real way to compare. Everyone has different tastes. I like Mexican food just fine, but think it’s highly overrated. My wife, on the other hand, could eat it every day for the rest of her life and be happy.
The US having soooo many mixes of cultures that blend food styles together causes it to get shit in by Europeans who think more in purist terms from my experience.
I would throw Italy in the mix. I don't think people realize how diverse that country is when it comes to food regions. I discussed this with Jay after his tweet went viral. But Americans largely miss on middle eastern and African dishes as a whole. Hell, most Louisiana dishes are some form of west African cuisine mixed with gulf coast seafood.
North Louisiana is getting a participation trophy in this discussion. Those folks don't know how to season food worth a damn.
These three states give you the: Best Tex mex Best barbecue Great coffee French creole Cajun Vietcajun And five major cities where you can pretty much get anything you want of quality from other regions
