Thought I was in the maps thread with the Halloween candy map and was thinking that thread took an extremely unexpected turn.

Never really noticed it before, but literally every man, woman, and child in that video is wearing a hat of some kind outside. When did all of that go away?
That's the first thing I always notice, actually. I personally don't wear hats very much, but I do think that people all used to look a lot cooler. Having "cover" is a miltary thing so it was certainly more popular/normal around the wars and those generations, I suppose. Pseudo-etiquette thing that seems to have faded over time, like standing up from a table when women arrive and leave, etc.
