Key lime pie? That's representative of, literally, the smallest area in all of Florida. I don't really know what I'd replace it with though...so I'll keep my outrage to a minimum.
I like fish tacos as much as the next guy, but that's what the state is known for? (Full disclosure, I'm just trying to start the infighting).
I'm older than 43. I've lived in CA for 43 years. Grew up in a household that didn't prioritize Mexican food. Married a woman who is allergic to fish. When dining out, there's always something else I'd rather eat voila
You are no longer a kid in your parent’s house and you do not have to eat every meal with your wife Voimotherfuckingla
I've never had a fish taco. I love fish and I'm a pretty adventurous eater but it just doesn't sound like a good combination to me. If someone made fish tacos I would absolutely try them and it could possibly change my mind, but until then I'm probably not going to order any.
San Diego probably. Not the whole state. But the whole state is too big to have one thing. Although I can't think of anything else that is so unique to ca so maybe it is fish taco.
I really can’t disagree with anything on that map. Of the things I’ve had, Chislic was the most pleasant surprise.
I think it’s so diverse from a cuisine/demographic standpoint that fish tacos would definitely have to be in the running considering the Latin influence and being on the pacific.
Almost but not quite, I had decided to not comment on the 5 year old-like behavior of knowing there are absolutely better things to eat than something you have not had before. I was gonna let you save some face. You forced my hand though. Maybe you are still a kid living in your parent’s house. Boom roasted!
the most delicious stuff in the world tbh https://honest-food.net/salmon-candy-recipe/ it's basically salmon jerky with brown sugar or maple syrup. it's impossible to ration yourself when eating it.
People have asked me to describe a Runza, from this day forth i’ll respond “it’s a Nebraskan hand held meat pie”
