If I’m laying injured watching a helicopter try to lower that gurney, spinning like a motherfucker, I’m walking down from that bitch. I don’t care if it’s a compound fracture, I’m NOT getting on that ride.
I admittedly would grade at a solid D- in avalanche expertise, but is there such thing as a controlled avalanche (assuming that's a french term I'm misconstruing) - always assumed they were as unpredictable as imaginable. Like the guy just watches it and knows that it's being handled? By who/what?
Yea - after re-watching it again I'm not sure how I didn't pick up on the clear indications of being a movie - the subtitles convince you sometimes I suppose.
By the way, the only way that gif would have been better is if the elephant kicked the ball before all of them went on a stampede killing all of their trainers. As it is, though, I'll just have to settle for the hope that the person in the stands is an adult who suffered a horrible concussion with lingering symptoms.
They intentionally set off smaller avalanches by blasting, yes. But I’m with you in the sense I put that in the same category as “controlled forest fires”
Avalanches are 100% unpredictable. Had a buddy who was ski patrol at a resort that lost his life while bombing for avalanches.
Not sure which part is more abnormal. The blackface baby or the fact that it’s in a bathtub of hot tea?
Why would you post this? And fuck you if you liked it. Killing animals of any kind that are helpless is pretty fucked imo.
my post is a (fictional) joke from the random thoughts thread (messing with user Prospector’s post at that same time), but regardless lol at reading that post and responding to insinuate that I was intentionally killing helpless cats and liking it. It doesn’t say anything of the hypothetical sort. Semi related, have a buddy who still brings up me swerving us into a front yard almost hitting a car in effort to avoid hitting a raccoon. My reaction/decision was a little off that night.
Really enjoying seeing these on Twitter today, if only because it reminds me that we still have a few of these badasses amongst us...
