I dunno what it’s like in Alabama/ Florida/ etc, but there’s a whole group of Texas people who go to Rosemary Beach then slap a “30A” sticker on their Suburban after taking pictures wearing all white on the beach every year, ala Siegfried and Roy. I guess it’s a social stature thing. Spoiler
My family (parents, sisters and their spouses/kids, my wife/kiddo and I) has a vacation planned for June in Watercolor. My wife and I (smart and not dumb people) texted our family chat saying we should go ahead and cancel the trip and get our rental house money back. My parents and sisters (not smart, evangelical dumb people) said we should hold off until late May to see because we should be over this by then. My money is being held hostage by my sister who paid for the house, because she refuses to cancel the trip. My family thinks i'm going to take my pregnant wife and kid to stay in a house with 12 other people in Florida, in June. Florida may not have peaked by then.
It's simple really, ask her to pay you back and say if you all go then and "this is over" you'll be glad to give her the money AND pay for her family too. Since she's so sure of herself.
She hasn’t gotten any money back from the vacation rental, hypothetically if money is an issue, ie maybe he contributed $1k.
but she can cover his and if he's wrong, he'll pay his and hers... assuming she can afford it :) but yes
I know I read, or watched, something recently about their live performances of that song. I can't find it anywhere but basically it took three women to replicate that sound live. Incredible voice.

To drive this point home on how fucking stubborn people are, I put my kid to this test on a nearly daily basis. He'll argue about the dumbest fucking stuff, but the second I make him put an hour of screen time on his answer, he suddenly backs off. Unfortunately, some people never grow out of this.
What's funny to me is that the people with the stickers are always people who rent there. So, it's not really indicative of social stature at all. And I think the kid on the far left on that picture was photoshopped in. Look how much bigger his head looks than the girl next to him.
Tell a 30A fanatic you're planning to spend a week in Destin and they'll have you removed from the premises at once.
