TicToks are bad enough, but the most annoying thing is the hyperbole. They’re always “greatest thing you’ll see today”, “shut down the internet” or other overwhelming statements.
I have a very vivid memory of watching that movie. One of my best friends introduced me to the Star Wars (via his father) when I were in elementary school. We were pumped when they announced Episode 1 was being filmed and decided to go opening night. On top of that, it premiered the night of our last day of freshman year of high school. We were on such a high and sat down ready to get blown away. I spent most of the movie trying to figure out who annoyed me more, Jar Jar or the kid. Which was good because it distracted me from George Lucas's childrens sci-fi action adventure abortion.
People didnt hate the trade federation guys much, who were much worse. Guess jar jar is just more prominent.
