Yeah I am not laughing at a kid getting hurt. Hope he is okay. Looks and sounds about 10-11 years old.
there’s literally nothing funny about a kid going through that. I’ve never been the type to find a human getting physically hurt funny, I know some laugh when a person falls that has never been me.
What is your position on someone getting hit in the balls? It is hilarious and I will die on that hill!
I mean I don't laugh initially. It's more like "Oh shit, are you okay?" You are? Great. Why the hell didn't you use the brakes on that bike
thats situational comedy and it depends. But, I am mostly taking about accidents like the one in that video.
laughing afterwards when the person is okay to lighten the mood is different than what a lot of people do and that’s laugh at a person’s misfortune. I can’t laugh at that video because of the kid crying. He sounds young and while he seems to be okay his pain gets me in feels.
I hear ya. I don't usually enjoy peoples misfortunes but I do think there is something primal about why people laugh at stuff like that. This video reminded me of the old grape stomp lady video and it still makes me laugh to the point of tears.
I did the same shit last winter skiing. It was close to a white out day and a buddy and I were skiing backcountry. I was going too fast and up in the trees a bit and didn't see the 15 foot ledge before I went over it. Crashed all crumpled up and my friend thought I broke my back from the gargling sounds I was making. Just knocked the wind out of myself and was good to go 5 min later. Edit: my friend definitely was laughing at me due to the sounds I was making, even though he thought I was very hurt.
hopefully this doesn’t make me sound like too much of a hypocrite. I didn’t laugh at that but because of the sounds she makes I could see someone laughing. The fact that this old and we know she is okay probably makes it easier to laugh at too. Also the fact that it’s a kid who got hurt makes it harder for me to find humor in that one as opposed to this one. I guess I can understand laughing at adults more than laughing at kids.
First time I tried to take a mailbox rail - same thing. Couldn’t breathe for a solid 2-3 minutes. Fine a minute after that. Lots of 12 year olds asking if i was okay (I was 30.)
Oh man. If I wasn’t expecting a chelada in the middle of a blind lager taste test, I might actually throw up.
Thats shitty and all, but how are you charging $13 for an açaí bowl from a food truck and not paying your employees a fair wage? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a food truck with more than 3 people working in it.
why pay a worker fair wages when you know the tips will exceed that anyway. I made $4 an hour as a bartender when I was starting my business but that amounted to closer to $40/hour w tips
It’s funny bc it’s a shared experience most of us have been through, eating shit. I laugh bc 1) it’s funny, 2) he’ll be fine once he rubs some dirt on it, and 3) fat crybabies eating shit is funny
I guess that's the definition of the saying that for every hot girl, there's a dude who is tired of fucking her somewhere. That having been said, that's the type of woman that wars are started over.
Now you've got me wondering how many of my "experiences" have been caught on security camera. Two involving a treadmill and one involving an escalator for sure.
Wasn't it @weimarbeerbelly who drunkenly wrecked a bicycle bad enough to make it un-rideable? Sure hope there is security camera footage of that out there to surface somewhere
Yeah wasn’t it the dude who camped out for a long period of time trimming weed? Think he was an FSU guy
