I've very offended you'd think I'd ever use the handle "Chase." I do love Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World content though.
Solid on that guy for helping the elephant out but man, I'd be wearing a little more face protection before I took several pounds of elephant shit to the face.
“A millennial couple embarked on an international biking adventure after quitting their day jobs in 2017. The two wrote a joint blog post about their planned travels, where they revealed that they would discover that “humans are kind” and that evil “is a make-believe concept.” Sadly, after just over a year of traveling, they were killed by ISIS militants in Tajikistan.” https://allthatsinteresting.com/lau...30736&utm_medium=social&utm_source=linkin.bio Spoiler The couple was riding with two other cyclists on a “Humans are Kind” mission. According to CBS News, as the group of four were riding through Tajikistan, a car suddenly rammed into them and five men got out and began attacking them with knives, eventually killing all four..
I believe this couple were from the DC area. Coincidentally, some friends of mine (well, more friends of friends, also from DC) were on a cycling tour of central Asia during that same period of time. So, when this was reported in the news, for like a 48 hour period, we thought our friends were dead. Turns out they'd cycled through this same route a couple of days prior to these people getting murdered.
Ok but also "evil" is some lazy bullshit that absolves us of trying to actually understand motivations and whatnot
