I like the stories where he gets baked and goes traveling in his own town
Just got to this one
as i’ve said before, i wish i could add atl14straight to my fan of section
Not sure if I mentioned this on TMB, but during the summer, when I wasnt going to the gym I started doing the ATL workout and planking and pushups during commercials. Got made fun of, but worked up to 350 pushups a day. My posture improved dramatically too.
I can’t thank Cornelius Suttree enough for recommending A Song of Ice and Fire.
OTOH - Id be furious at him for getting me into a great story that will never be finished.
I want to know who won
we all did
Hope you also enjoyed that new Ariana Grande album of which I spoke so highly
Loved it. Thanks again.
I just heard a stat that Burrow had more TDs on Saturday in the Mercedes Benz Dome, than Matt Ryan had in that building all year.
what did you end up doing for your mom’s music library?
My biggest concern was her computer being so old it couldnt upgrade to a newer operating system. It did so I just upgraded it, installed plex, and ripped all her CDs on her computer and created a music library for her.
What I didnt articulate very well in the OP of that thread - My worry was that the computer wouldnt be able to upgrade. So my half-brained thought was if there was someway to use her computer as a server, but keep it behind the firewall and able to be accessed by other devices in her house, but not grant it access to the internet, past the firewall to get all virus'd up.
But since it was able to upgrade to Windows 10, that was a non issue.
I was under the impression this included the SECCG as well, but I try to watch as little of Matt Ryan's noodle arm as possible so idk
it did include the SECCG
That makes more sense. I obviously heard it wrong
Cornelius Suttree often talks about how he does planks and pushups during the commercials of sporting events to keep in shape. Over the summer, I dont go to the gym often. I usually go play basketball outside if I work out, or go to happy hour instead of the gym ect. I decided to start doing the planks and pushups during commercials. Not really any specific workout plan. Just started ripping off pushups during breaks and worked my way up.
It’s called ripped and rips.
'bows and flows, imho
Just got off my 10th and final flight of the year. When I took my first flight of the year in May, I was drinking and taking Xanax to deal with my fear of flying. I've now done the last two completely sober.
I still think I'm gonna die every time I get on a plane, but it's getting better. I'm very happy about this as my fear of flying has been a bit of limiting factor in the kind of life I'd like to live.
I just always think, with the statistics, if my plane goes down I guess it's my time to take a dirt nap.
Agreed, you're more likely to get shot or die in a car wreck.
Christian McCaffery had more yards after catch than total receiving yards 1010 to 1005
I’m currently reading Cockpit Confidential, a book written by a pilot about the ins and outs of commercial aviation. I like it because I like learning about all the logistics and such, but there’s also some very informative parts that are intended to answer common fears among infrequent flyers. Can’t rate it quite yet since I’m not done but it’s great thus far
How much alcohol and xanax did you down before attempting the far far far more dangerous driving a car?
That book, specifically the stories of how various problems actually get handled in the cockpit, helped me a lot. Someone on here recommended it to me.
None, because I don't have a fear of driving a car and because my fear isn't based on simply being misinformed about what the most dangerous mode of transportation is. What exactly were you trying to accomplish with this post?
I understand phobias like walking along the the edge of a cliff and being scared of heights, I understand less about phobias where stats say you are much safer than the alternative. In places where I understand less, I appreciate insight as to why those phobias might exist.
The point is that phobias aren’t logical in the first place.
A fear of heights on the side of a cliff is perfectly logical. The fear of drowning when you cant swim and cant touch the bottom is perfect logical.
Yeah but it always seems that people with these phobias include those situations + a bunch of illogical ones. For instance, I’m afraid of heights but will still have fear perfectly secured indoors looking out of the window.
Yep I understand that theyre irrational, always trying to better understand the irrationality.
You're such a twat.
I tried using head and shoulders this morning and my entire head and face is on fire. Does this happen to everyone?
I only discovered a couple days ago that Joshua Johnson formerly of NPR's 1A is black. Never knew from listening or picked up any clues. Saw him on Meet the Press and was confused for a second.
The first scene of The Replacements implies that Shane Falco dumped a bunch of his trash in the Potomac River
Sounds like NYE is off to a great start in the Baby household
The only prix fixe on menu tonight is Nigel Gruff trying to pay off the bookies
My wife is positing that Shane Falco symbolically threw only his All-American trophy into the river, which honestly seems more inline with the character.
