So, in summation, people get them to look cool, get tagged with the name of the above-mentioned sorority. Makes me giggle.
My apartment complex is probably 80% college kids. These kids are better about breaking down boxes than any of the adult neighbors with whom I've ever shared garbage containers. Respect
I almost posted my covers in here because I searched and found 3 covers threads that had been bumped in the past few weeks. So I put one in each.
yeah they were not attractive at all at FSU - their letters were used to make a pretty heinous tag line of Krispy Kreme guzzlers
It sounds more like they have a certain combination they start with. Like Alabama license plates, for at least the top ~10 counties population wise start with the # rank and a letter. For example, Jefferson County, the most populous County, license plates started with a 1 followed by A, B, C... Mobile County was 2 A, B,..., Baldwin County was 5 A, B,...
Jefferson, Mobile, and Montgomery counties are 1-3 due to population. Starting at 4 with Autauga County, it goes in alphabetical order for the remaining 64 counties.
I'm pretty sure thats not even accurate anymore because or Huntsville's grown and Mobile County is losing population to the Eastern shore every year. Really arbitrary system I guess.
No, I think they just make runs for each plate type and county and don’t reuse any combos. Our format is ABC 123 (used to be 123 ABC) where the letter is the primary. You get every AAA 001-999, then AAB, AAC, etc until theoretically ZZZ 999. The current batch of Polk county black plates (ie the most masculine) just happened to get the run starting with KKG.
It gets worse when you find out years later the “beat” is just a Red Hot Chili Peppers sample, cause that was the best part
