It was a relief for me but a pain in the ass because of all the stuff I was hooked up to and the nurse watching
My favorite in the satanic panic was thinking records said something when you played them backwards. Who is listening to records backwards?
This is going to make me sound old AF but the Snickers "Scoop of Butterscotch" bars are fucking incredible. It's nice to find something Butterscotch flavored that isn't a hard candy, baking chip or ice cream syrup. 10 out of 10, would eat again.
it's been a low key favorite of mine since I was a kid, there was a DQ right next door to my junior high and I would stop in there often on my walk home and get a soft serve dipped in Butterscotch
Ordering something on Amazon for mother's day. Is there a way for it to not show up on my Amazon Show? Don't want the wife to see what's being delivered.
kids are terrorists Students and Parents, Teachers have noticed and reported that there are some students who have been sticking pencil lead and paperclips into the power portal of the chromebooks/laptops. As of today, this will be considered vandalism to our computers, students may have to pay a fine, and they will lose their computer for the rest of the year.
$700 sound about right for dermatologist to remove a little basal cell carcinoma spot? with insurance?
Anyone here ever known a person that regularly parallel parks facing the wrong way (ie parking on the wrong side of the street)? I’ve been struggling to come up with a reason why someone in my neighborhood keeps doing this, other than being criminally insane.
I don't know why but I always labored under the belief you would get cited for parking in the opposite direction
I don't really see the issue with it. Seems more difficult for the person parking to pull out, but maybe they don't want to open their door into traffic.
has anyone seen the MDFoodieBoyz? essentially a podcast where a bunch of middle school kids discuss their favorite foods. What makes it incredible is they obviously still have little kid palates. there's an ep where they discuss pizza toppings Kid1: i like cheese pizza Kid 2: me too Kid3: Cheese pizza for me Kid 4: I mess with pepperoni It's so basic yet anytime they cross my feed I'll watch their clips
someone posted it here before. maybe you? my TMB search skills have failed me. couldn't find the previous post.
I think technically a parking violation but I doubt it would ever be enforced in a residential neighborhood.
Humanity has quietly passed a remarkable milestone: Alcohol consumption is declining, a turning point in a habit at least as old as civilization itself. This unnoticed shift suggests other long-standing habits (from smoking to red meat consumption) could potentially fade just as effortlessly.— Adam Tooze (@adamtooze.bsky.social) 2025-05-07T21:08:28.312Z
I think I preferred the BDSM Con going on at the hotel I was at rather than a furry convention, no offense to the furry community.
One of my friends dated a furry for a bit. That was one of the funnier lunch conversations I can remember was her asking the group what they thought about it and if it was too weird.
I'm just reading the mall talk from this week. There's a mall in Oxford Alabama that is straight out of the 80's. One story with a movie theater and arcade. Food court has a cfa, American deli, pizza place and random Chinese. It's one of my favorite places. There's a mall still open in west Georgia but children are banned without adults. Apparently youths were terrorizing the place.
The board’s most dated looking threads are the ones where people post youtube music video links. The page then takes minutes to load. Do spotify links not embed on here? Let’s try:
There was a furry convention at the hotel attached to my old office building. I walked though at lunch and it honestly just seemed like a bunch of awkward, nerdy kids in their early 20s trying to make friends.
isnt gen z weirdly puritanical too? like they’ve melted their brains into thinking sex is bad and other antisocial stuff like that
