It's too bad TheChatch wasn't here to see his Global Warming thread bumped.
it was 70 degrees in his back yard. so much for global warming
How's everyone doing tonight?
On my way to being drunk
How is the King of Burgers this evening?
so South Park is no longer on Hulu
man these streaming services always lose some of the only content I actually want to watch
This tape was my jam back when I was 5-10
It’s in HBO Max now, right?
Man... I ordered delivery, and it was picked up an hour ago. Driver still not here, and it is far past "latest estimated delivery time". Think the driver is doing like 5 orders at a time. Knew I shouldn't have ordered that taco salad, because that shell will be nastay now.
Estimated delivery was literally 45 minutes ago.
Did it ever get delivered?
Maybe they’re just waiting for you to come down and get it.
Driver ate it ...
Eventually... Like 1.5 hours after it said they were on the way. I GPS'd the restaurant and it was 12 minutes from me, so I know it wasn't traffic. I think the driver was just doing a few too many deliveries all at once. On the positive side, she didn't get lost trying to find my spot like 90% of the drivers do.
This happened to me a month or so back. I live 4 blocks from the restaurant on the exact same road. It was a female dasher name. They picked it up and started going the wrong way and got further and further away. They were 5.6 miles and 20+ minutes the other way before they stopped for about 10 minutes and finally headed back. They had no clue I could see their every move. It was two dudes in a beat ass early 90s Chevy pickup and they took a good 2-3 minutes to even get out of the truck when they got here. I live on a corner and have specific instructions about how to leave it at my front door because the driveway is on the side, etc. They went to the driveway and around back to leave it and everything.
I cancelled via DoorDash before they even turned back for my house so I got a $35 credit for the order, plus the food was still sealed. Just a little cold. Annoying as hell, but pretty worth it in the end.
The apps that I’ve used all have a pretty efficient “complaint” system and you could very easily get some money back if you want to go that route.
Top Gun is on IFC currently. If it's not at least in the conversation of your top 5 movies of all time then your top 5 list is wrong.
I’ve confused the actress Zendaya with the race horse Zenyatta before.
What about the Police album Zenyatta Mondatta?
He’s no Leon Bridges
Random ass Humpback whale jumping out at a New Jersey beach is par for the course in 2020
That's...uhh...not normal, right?
every state should require a front license plate simply to prevent jackasses from putting a confederate flag plate on the front of their vehicle
I wish I could like this several times. AZ doesn't require them and it makes it so much harder to confirm your Uber, etc. as well.
They (sometimes?) give you two plates even.
That was 24 hours ago when you asked and I responded, so you had plenty of time to sleep.
You know how when you listen to a recording of yourself you don’t sound like what you hear when you are just regularly talking?
I wonder how would you sound to yourself if you traveled in time and talked to a future or past version of yourself.
you would still sound like a bitch !
It’s called a recording
Finally got around to watching Eurovision, totally not on Ferrell’s Mt. Rushmore of movies but was surprisingly entertaining. Could have been 20 or so minutes shorter. Rachel McAdams still has her fastball
The old whites that make up 90% of CBS viewership must've had heart attacks when the BET awards just came on
Time travel isn’t a recording
I posted this in the 2019 thread because Im dumb.
Lets try again
I hate when a new thread pops up, you follow it for half a page before realize you dont care about the topic. Then you see it's grown to 9 pages and have TMB FOMO about what's going in that thread.
That's what happened w the twitch streamer that got the boot. I just dont care about twitch but realize it's a big thing. Also dont want to read pages of a thread.
What a monday morning dilemma !
most of the discussion is gamers being defensive about watching people play video games. Also rugby
Seems like it was more people explaining to boomers why twitch is a thing
Don’t forget about reaction times.
I don't get watching people play video games but to each their own.
I enjoy watching my friends play video games because I enjoy following the story and action and I suck at video games. But the catch is that I am normally hanging out with the friend and we are drinking or bullshitting around. Not sure I would enjoy watching strangers play video games, though I have never given it a chance so who knows.
That's totally different than watching strangers on YouTube.
it seems most people use it as background noise while doing other things
that could also be bias because its why i started turning it on vs tv shows/movies that are more distracting
I can see why people watch it, and also why people hate it. I try to watch it sometimes, but always get bored relatively quickly.
The thing that bothers me the most on twitch is chicks wearing low cut shirts while only using the "Just Chatting" mode, because they actually can't play video games. I don't know why, but it grinds my gears. On the other hand, people like Patrick Rothfuss using the "Just Chatting" feature, I'm a-ok with.
I know poison ivy has 3 leaves, but lots of things have 3 leaves. Therefore, is this poison ivy?
Im going to say most definitely.
Leaves of 3, leave it be
