Binged You’re the worst, quality show. British guy is a great actor and Vernon is a hilarious underrated character
Billie Eilish is just silly talented for being only 18.. interested to see how her music develops going forward
If the lad hasn’t panned out to be a world class player by 22, that’s about the point I transfer list them. I’d be adding a massive release clause to Billie’s contract right about now.
Anyone have a link to the crazy baseball statistics thread? Blows my mind that more people have walked on the moon (12) than have scored against Mariano Rivera in the post season (11).
141 innings pitched, 11 earned runs? https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/r/riverma01.shtml#all_pitching_postseason
In the adventures of @ANTWONE’s unemployed life I decided to do a personality test today I’m ENTP according to the free test I took. I’m also a type 8 “challenger” based on the Ennegram test.
For the past half hour or so I’ve had something pop up in my peripheral vision. Thought I had something in my eye but it didn’t hurt and kept coming back each time I wiped eye. Finally went to the mirror to see what’s up- 2 of my eyebrow hairs broke loose from the pack and were so long they were hanging down over my eye. I didn’t even know they could do that. Signs of aging
1) images don't load for me when browsing via phone 2) today I went to upload an image and had to see through an ad, they enabled banner ads. so I guess they want me to pay for it now, which means I switch to something else.
My buddy made some hand-carved figurines for me from my favorite 3 Christmas movies. Can’t wait for these to arrive and be proudly displayed on my mantle.
I like to think that I’d be able to get a clean shot on this kid at some point and KO him but I’m not sure I could
I got these from him for Halloween. They were the first ones he ever put up for sale. I told him I would pay double the asking if he would do these 3 for me for Christmas. He honestly has a real gift with these. He is a musician in St Louis and covid has hit him pretty hard this year with most of his gigs cancelled for about 6 months. I feel good being able to help him out. It is a bonus that these are so awesome.
Not sure where else to post this but searched my history for Spotify and found these posts 5 years apart funny. First post is from 2012 in response to someone talking about what good value Spotify was 2nd was in 2017; part of questionnaire and question 6 was which subscription service you couldn’t live without
So I’ve been randomly sending my friends stuff in the mail for a few years via amazon. Like one day I sent them all Fidget spinners. Or one day I randomly sent them trump flags. Other times just to one specific friend. Like I keep sending one a bioshock collection game because he refuses to play it. About a week he said his wife wouldn’t be interested because they’ll sit and play together. So I sent his wife a copy last week. I don’t know why I find it so funny, but the next one will happen in a couple of days. One is a jets fan(step dad got him into them), so I sent him a Wayne Chrebet book.
This account has started to annoy me more and more. Not due to what it posts, which normally is enjoyable, but because they refuse to provide any credit to whoever originally posted the video or whatever. *Steps off soap box
What's the source of friction? Random person informally claims a spot as his and gets heated when someone takes it?
Oops. I meant to post that in the Chicago thread. When it snows and they plow the streets it creates a rock hard ice glacier on the curbs. Some people will dig out a spot to park. Then when they leave, will put a bunch of shit in the spot to call dibs. Chairs, trash cans, ect. It’s annoying as hell. But it also sets up for some great people watching fights.
People clear snow from a spot, then when they leave they place an object in the spot so no one else can park there. "Dibsing" it for themselves when they return.
I don't blame you. Hell all I've seen is from just visiting a few times a year. It's different from living in NYC with a car because there everyone has to move their cars twice a week for the street sweepers (which creates a different kind of parking chaos)
That happens in the summer. I got so many street cleaning tickets. I sold my car after my first 2 years in Chicago and didnt get another one until I could afford a place w a parking spot.
Street sweeping is just bullshit, it doesn’t do anything to clean the streets. Only thing it does is generate revenue.
