Theology would be religious study. Seminary is the school. Is seminary Catholic only or are there seminary for other denominations? I guess there's some sort of Jewish seminary, is it called that?
I just equate seminary with catholic from my time in catholic schools.
How can people drive with those big ass sheepskin steering wheel covers?
My favorite history and theology professor has a PhD from a Seminary. He holds no belief in any organized religion, just like to study and teach them objectively.
Yeah I mean I've got a buddy who went to college, transfered to seminary, then started playing music. I think he got his degree somewhere along the line.
Trying to explain technology to olds drives me insane sometimes
Im trying to help my uncle import email from an old work email system that's being shut down into a new gmail account. If you're not tech savvy this could be intimidating, I get that. He is convinced he cant access gmail through the microsoft edge browser because he "doesnt use google"
Just say “the cloud” a bunch and insist it’ll work
Never forget that Seattle Mariners outfielder Al Martin once claimed he played football for USC and got trucked by Leroy Hoard in an '86 game against Michigan
Gonna tell my kids this is the Mona Lisa.
WAS SADIE HAWKINS THE FIRST GAL TO EVER ASK A GUY TO A DANCE?
WHY ARE WE YELLING?
Why are you yelling?
I STARTLE EASILY
THE question remains.
Sadie actually chased/ran after a man for marriage, not a dance. In other words, she was a psycho.
Should have gotten blue cheese. 0/10. Would not eat.
We have American Deli all over the place in Atlanta, but I've still never been to one.
College kids moved in the house next door. These motherfuckers have:
3 full-size Tahoe/Yukons
1 Grand Cherokee
1 full-size Ford truck
Way to kill the planet guys
That looks like an insultingly small serving of fries
That sucks about the vehicles and the new tenants. I would hate it if college kids lives next to me these days.
I live in a collegiate area and I sleep like a rock so it's all good with me. Just an affront to the eye every time I see that wall of steel parked on the curb. Those 6 vehicles make quite a fleet. Can barely see to pull out the driveway
Didn’t know you lived by Cornell.
The empty feeling after a big shit is one of the simple pleasures of life
Drove a Tahoe in college and post college. Had that thing for 10 years before I moved back to CA.
in HS the same people who had $1,500 paintball guns in 7th grade drove 2-door Tahoes that were ridiculously loud
always really liked the look of that vehicle, just didn't need to be on 35-inch tires, have a huge lift, and a glasspack
those things were easy prey for the police departments in the smaller municipalities outside the city
Strikes me as wasteful but I'm just a liberal with a 15 year old Accord
this explains so much
My man. I drive a 20 year old car. Hoping I can get to 500k miles.
I’m going for the 500k club with my Subaru. 422k to go.
I haven’t had a car in 8 years AMA
Mine is only for grocery store or visiting parents. Walk everywhere else
One of the Tahoes was getting a ticket just now for illegal parking
tahoes are the goat
official vehicle of the chuds
Having a vehicle for 10 years is wasteful?
and what do you drive?
I went 5 years without a car from October 2014 until last November. It was great.
Just saw where former Duck QB Dennis Dixon is on the last season of 60 Days In. He is acting like an incredible dick head. Probably wont watch any more but hope he gets his head smashed.
What is 60 Days In?
civilians volunteer to go be a fake prisoner for 60 days. no one but a few guards and the warden know that they aren't real inmates. muhammed ali's daughter was on the first season iirc
Is it a way to try to root out corruption or what?
I only watched the first season but from what I remember, yea. at the end of their 60 days they would do a sit down with the warden and tell them what they noticed, things inmates were doing that the guards weren't picking up on, how they hid contraband, etc. some were really helpful.
I remember one was like a middle school teacher who kept faking sick to get out of gen. pop. he told the warden it wasn't all that bad and the warden said something along the lines of "you were absolutely useless and not any help at all. thanks for wasting everyone's time"
I feel like individuals in prison should be allowed to use marijuana. Let them get high as shit and draw or read. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Lol that wasn’t Dennis Dixon. You think a former NFL player is going to go under cover into a jail?
That dude started at UConn and finished at Norfolk St
love that show tho.
lol what in the world that sounds worse than anything Fear Factor ever made their participants eat
