At my daughter’s high school graduation. Amazing something so long and boring can fill you with so much emotion and pride.
Not sure where to post it so guess this thread works. But this Oklahoma softball dynasty is pretty damn impressive.
i think it’s their last shot at getting back at students for the shut they put them through over the last 4 years. At least it wasn’t hot
I just lost a luckily unopened beer in my apartment, and it will not turn up. I set it aside to assuage my talkative cat then went to pee, now I have checked every room and can’t find it. Anyway grabbed a fresh one
I moved closer to downtown L.A. about a year ago, and I think I've finally come to terms with people lighting fireworks off around my street at 8:00 p.m every 2 days.
Update found the beer. I am just an idiot 100%. I put it on a pantry shelf after throwing the bottle cap away then dealt with cat. Still more than drinkable though
I edited at it made no sense and drunk, I’m simply sharing a villa with parents and these rednecks will not shut up
Just fireworks and the inevitable LAPD helicopter circling overhead for 20 minutes. I just feel bad for my cat. She looks like she's having fucking Vietnam flashbacks everytime it happens.
if you are buying a gift for a parent and splitting the costs with siblings, do you: - divide the gift cost by the total number of families? or - divide the gift cost by the total number of people? i.e. 4 children, 2 are partnered; is the cost split between 4 or between 6?
Really? That would be amazing. I’m picturing a google doc updated as property is acquired or someone gets a job promotion
There are four of us and a huge age gap between the two oldest brothers and the two youngest brothers. Basically we just tell the two youngest brothers “throw in $100” each and the two oldest split the rest. One baby brother gets insulted, the other appreciates it.
