So I went to mcd's this morning for breakfast. I'm the only one in line and the woman at the window told me to pull around to a waiting zone. You want me to pull around? But there isn't anyone behind me. - my timer tells me you need to pull around. But there's literally no one else in line. - Please pull around. Ok, start to pull around and she yells stop because she is holding my order.
I get all giddy when they ask me to pull up and wait cause I know that shit is gonna be hot! Oh fresh hot French fry heaven!
I’ve been thinking and I believe it’s time we evolve our legal system case naming convention. For example, State of Michigan vs Thompson should be Thompson @ Michigan to denote the home court advantage.
I prefer my beer fests to be in a dirty park with uncapped needles and a passed out homeless guy's ass visible beyond the fence
I moved at the end of 2018 and lament that I haven't discovered a beerfest in my new city to replace the one I used to attend. Doesn't help that Wurstfest (located outside of Austin) has to be one of the better ones out there.
Found out after the fact that one of the larger (if not largest) AZ beerfest was held at the new sports complex I can walk to from my house. Hopefully they keep it there going forward.
Idk, I think A&M and texas would be the ones to go headfirst into a firefight with a clown backing them up
Is Wurstfest a craft beer fest now? We lived in New Braunfels when I was a kid and went to Wurstfest. Obviously we weren't there for the beer, but I do remember the big beer halls with food/German beer. A decade or so ago now I discovered it had become some level of a music fest too. Also what's your new area? May be aware of some. Big thing now is breweries having them for their anniversary parties.
Yeah, def not 100% solely beer focused but their spin off event "Wursftest Craft Beer Festival" held in the spring was so. I enjoyed both for different reasons. I'm in west Fort Worth now. Also -
Taking it back to the dumb heat, Today's "real feel" of 109 made me not enjoy my occupation. The current forecast has the actual temp next Thursday at 102, so that probably won't be much better.
Yeah, very happy I’m inside writing reports the rest of the month instead of being out in this. Stay hydrated and try to stay cool…it’s fucking miserable out. Legit dangerous.
Exchange rates are pretty good right now if anyone buys things overseas. I buy my scotch abroad and it appears to be about a 15% swing between the dollar and GBP since November.
Today’s first world problem: rolled up to my nearest target and the parking lot is full of beige shipping containers.
lol I'm at Meatball 's 8th grade graduation. There is a kid here who looks like 8th grade Eli Brooks (UM point guard) He's wearing a French maid outfit and a pair of cat ears...I'm so confused
I like the idea of beerfests. But most of them around here are too packed to really enjoy. For example:
The best beerfest I have ever been to was in the shithole town McAlister, OK. The breweries there and their pourlists were incredible. VTA tjosu
Nice. Been to American Solera and Prarie in Tulsa but would love to see the OG spot some day. Best one I've been to was Southern Grist's 2-4th anniversary parties. Some great stuff at those.
