So for some reason I'm into 1.5 of those Divergent movies tonight I know there's a book series that predates the movies but this is like a blatant ripoff of Hunger Games and Maze Runner, but shittier. I don't understand how these movies got made
Had Mellow Mushroom last night and woke up with hella acid reflux. My stomach and throat feel like they’re on fire. Feelsfuckingbadman.jpg
Mexican food from Mississippi is probably the last thing in this world I would ever guess someone would say they prefer
It’s not Mexican food, though. It’s a different dish at this point. It’s like saying Texas BBQ is Caribbean food.
Truth. I grew up in the whitest town that can possibly exist and we had an incredible Mexican restaurant.
Not to mention it was brought by Mexicans working fields in the delta and adopted by black and other minority sharecroppers. It's not just rednecks cooking Mexican food.
This extra spicy chicken tika masala is hitting the spot on a cold day. I also made a cinnamon roll protein cheesecake
When I went it was very average. But it was at a shitty time covid wise and I think they had a limited menu.
Leeroy Jenkins! have you been here? Just read an article calling it one of best breakfast spots in America. https://www.valentinastexmexbbq.com/
I am not him but it is legit. So legit the town near where they had their food truck gave them hefty incentives to open a brick & mortar and expand.
Yeah it was when I was there too. Also highly recommend that. For a long time I wanted to move to Austin. It’s a fantastic eating and drinking city.

But they are strictly delicious. I had never had real tamales until I moved out to Houston 10 years ago. People in the southeast are missing out.
wes tegg talking about gas station food and not mentioning the culinary delicacy of chicken on a stick is a tragedy
I get frozen pupusas pretty much every time we go to the ethnic market. Throw them in the iron skillet with a little oil and they might not be the real deal but it’s a damn good substitute.
There's is food truck that I pass occasionally that sells them. Regret that I haven't stopped yet. But it's in a weird part of town I'm rarely in unless I'm going to play disc golf at one park in particular
I only said Mexican because its the most common theory. There is some evidence to think Native Americans of the delta region had a similar food well before then.
I picked up a sausage biscuit meal from Jack for his morning as I was in a rush and feeling fat. I asked for 0 condiments. This was what I got. We are the most wasteful society imaginable.
