You would think so - but I feel like Ole Miss football commentary is a bridge too far even for this one.
i was at a birthday dinner tonight and someone's middle school-aged kid surprisingly played 'happy birthday' on his saxophone. and the old adults made him do it again so they could get a better (less interrupted) video of it. social media is bad.
Tiktok has a trend with the song “forget-slowed” which reminded me of the artist Pogo whom I haven’t listened to in forever. So that was cool
I like Cobain’s voice actually. However; Davies sounds like some Joe Schmoe singing karaoke, and not the lead singer of a Hall of Fame band.
Wife was starting contractions and had to go see a patient so that she would complete that rotation and not lose a month’s work.
My employer provides 0 paid days for maternity/paternity leave. You have to use your PTO if you want to take anything off for it. ANd they only give you three weeks a year, which includes holidays, illness, etc. And unbelievably we're the only hospital in the area that delivers babies so you would think of all places we should provide something.
Chad Kroger of Nickelback (popular, not good) Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts (the Nickelback of country music)
Getting siding replaced and they’re working outside my office window cranking some daddy yankee at 8:45. These guys party.
I ate some bad fish Saturday night. Stomach still in distress. I'm not sure what's worse between this and the covid diarrhea
Had some Chinese food yesterday from a place I hadn't had. Was decent average American Chinese but not spicy despite having a pepper symbol. Anyway I believe that's the culprit for my several liquid shits this morning.
3.5 stars on Yelp. 4.1 on Google. My favorite Chinese place is 4.1 on yelp and Google. Fresh noodles. Throw handfuls of chilis in anything that's supposed to be spicy. Have adorable children that will come and take your drink and food order. Never given me painful shits.
I've been to fu Lin once a long time ago but yeah Mr. Hui's is really good. My neighborhood is across from it so I go pretty often. If you haven't, try Chinese Kitchen next to the Pantry, best in west LR.
Nice, been wondering about it. Just ate at the Pantry last week for the gfs bday and it was spectacular. Had some charcuterie from there before but the lasagna was great.
You’d think Jack Harlow was a professional basketball player the way he shows up in basketball centric commercials
One of my wife’s 2 best friends just found out she has breast cancer last week. Tonight, her dog got hit by a truck and died in her arms. Son of a bitch. Wish there was something I could do to lighten her load right now. She is crushed.
The Pantry is the best spot in all of LR IMHO. That pâté on the charcuterie plate. Been gone about 5 years now though.
saw a tiktok the other day stating that a 3.5 star Yelp review is what you're supposed to look for in a Chinese restaurant. the reasoning being is that usually it means the food is really good but gets docked points because Americans are used to a proactive American wait staff and they think they're getting sub-standard service from the reactive Asian wait staff
