I’ve hit my 200GB storage limit on iCloud and now Apple wants to charge me $10/month for extra storage. Being a cheap ass I find that ridiculous.
Wut? The new Mission Impossible movies rock and I’m glad Crazy Tom is willing to nearly kill himself to capture such breathtaking stunts.
When they make a movie about King Charles they need to cast Andy Serkis because he can play him and the gorilla
This is wild - Woman brings daughter to Radio City Music Hall Rockettes show with her Girl Scout troop. - Facial Recognition alerts security she's not allowed in the building - turns out her law firm is in litigation with MSG. They have a policy that no one in litigation can enter MSG for legal purposes. However the woman is not involved in the suit in anyway. Surveillance state is scary.
I know tipping is a highly debated topic, but this is the first time I have seen this and worded like this
I haven’t seen this before. Does this mean that they charge a flat 20% to help pay their workers more, to make it clear that is what the increase is going to rather than adding to the price of the entrees and then tipping is requested in addition? Or is this in lieu of tipping?
Seems like its trying to get you to pay 20% towards payroll, and its conveniently silent on weather you are supposed to tip on top of that.
the law makes it weird to state whether the 20% is in place of tipping, often they have to say it ISN'T a tip, which makes it even more confusing but 20% surcharge means you don't tip, don't be dense
If anyone is in need of a new Christmas movie you may have previously overlooked, the star-studded 1996 comedy Santa with Muscles is on YouTube. Jordan Belfort is a listed as a producer. Features Hulk Hogan, Don Stark, Mila Kunis, Ed Begley Jr, Garrett Morris, and Adam Wylie. Criminally underrated at 2.5/10 on IMDb
At my in-laws where it’s negative degrees and forgot that they don’t have central heat. It’s all wood burning so it’s like 90 degrees in the house and feels/smells like your face is in a camp fire.
Was listening to an econ/business podcast. They had a local bakery owner to discuss operating in this current climate. He basically admitted it's easy to raise rates when everything thinks there's inflation. Then went on to bitch about the labor market. What a twat. But the one thing I found extremely interesting is he said there was a pretty large gelatin shortage. The chip shortage is caused a slow down in car production. Car production slowdown lessened the demand for leather in the seats, so less animals were slaughtered for that process. Apparently those animals make up a lot of the sourcing for gelatin and it created a crunch. Supply chains/webs are wild man...
