This or MCR’s Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge are probably the best pop/punk albums from the whole Warped Tour era. Edit: Brand New’s Deja Entendu was probably my favorite of the pop/punk era, but can’t really talk about them as much since JL was cancelled for being a creep.
I got absolutely trashed after one of my best friend’s wedding last night and apparently left my phone and keys with the maid of honor, another good friend. This afternoon my friend/the bride’s mom knocks on my door and has my phone and keys, then we go get get lunch and bushwhackers and pound coors lights on the beach until the sun goes down. Good Sunday all in all, and it’s incredibly fortuitous I extended my stay through Monday a few weeks ago.
I get why restaurants do it, but I hate how all their prices are a few dollars more expensive on DoorDash which is already expensive as shit
In laws took us to an Arky "Hall of Fame" restaurant over the weekend. https://thevenesianinn.com/ It was very Arkansas.
Never heard of it but that's hilarious. I wonder what other restaurants occupy the hall of fame. Not sure who I'd put on there other than Rhoda's. Doe's maybe but the OG is Greenville, MS I thought.
I tried to find a full list but it doesn't seem they want you to know but looks like they started doing it pretty recently. I'm still debating on if the salad with a few leaves drenched in dressing or the outdoor restrooms you have to chase wildlife out of was the best part.
Got over 3 full hours deep sleep and 5 hours sleep total last night, for the first time in a little while. Feel great today ready to kickass!!!
60% deep sleep sounds amazing. I average like 15% and the average person typically maxes out at around 25%
This topic's putting me to sleep. Back to the future thing, y'all are an optimistic bunch. What will humans look back on in 200 years? I doubt much considering we'll be exterminated by/the slaves of computers much sooner than that. Like who looks at Chat GPT and thinks "we've got a good long run left"
I like how this guy is doing business brain LinkedIn grindset but with being a top ten MLB draft pick. (3) Leverage is everything. I don’t know, man, maybe if you’re negotiating licensing fees. But I think Major League Baseball teams probably care more about whether you can throw 98 miles per hour with a devastating breaking ball and a third pitch that could eventually be a plus.
Very truly yours is the weirdest nonsensical business ending salutation. This isn't a love letter from the 1930s.
LinkedIn is a good platform for certain things but it also has the most vapid worst parts of all the other social media platforms but like, tidied up with corporate falsity. LinkedIn people are the worst
I’ve decided that everything Mr. Turner described doesn’t sound so bad. I’m ready to become a professional baseball player and I’m willing to put in the work. #riseandgrind
My wife lost her engagement/wedding ring. It's on our home owners insurance policy. Will filing a claim make our insurance go up a ton?
Went for the first time a few weeks ago. Got up early and drove to the AR "Grand Canyon" to see the sunrise, which unfortunately was a bust because it was too cloudy. But still very scenic and some nice low clouds/fog. Went to Ozark Cafe after for a giant blueberry pancake and a biscuit with chocolate gravy which made up for it. Never heard of this one.
Weird, never had a pic upload that way before. Ended up going to Branson for some legal weed after that breakfast. Hadn't been since childhood. Place is way more unhinged feeling as an adult.
I still daydream about the breakfasts I'd get after doing a leg of the OHT over a weekend. Hit up Oark on the way out, smash a full biscuit breakfast, pie with the coffee as an app.
