Serpent Queen… started to watch it. I like it so far but I also really liked Versailles. Same kind of look and feel.

 

I recommended it 3 years ago - but if you don't watch Derry Girls - you really are missing something

 

Season 3 understandably was a bit different and didn’t like it as much but yes the show is great.

 

Good youtube recs brought some stuff back, the whole looking for the Clintons thing is hilarious.

Watched the 1st episode of "Fleishman is in trouble" on Hulu last night. I really enjoyed it. Great cast.



Probably not for everybody. But having gone through a divorce and then having to figure out how to navigate the world with online dating being something new to me at the time, reconnecting with old friends, etc...; I enjoyed the 1st episode. Will continue the series.

 

This was is based on a novel by the same name. The book was really good. The first couple episodes were good as well.

 

Good to know, wasn't sure how well it would translate to a show.

 

Has anyone watched the remake of quantum leap yet? Is it worth watching?

I’m enjoying the the new Stallone show Tulsa King or whatever it’s called. 3 episodes out and it’s entertaining. Nothing groundbreaking, but fun show

i plan on starting that new Luke Evans show on prime tonight as well. big fan of his since he's a dreamboat and such, so hoping it's good

 

Can still go down random rabbit hole and watch old clips so it's a good show. I just assume Liam Neeson was pressured by his family/agent who liked the show.

 

Irush random you ever watch the Carlos the Jackal 3 part biopic? Goes from way more charasmatic than realistic to what happens when you believe your own hype completely divorced from the working folks one supposedly wants to liberate, it's a fascinating story regardless.

Couldn't find a thread for it but finally got around to watching Six Feet Under. Rainn Wilson being a mortician apprentice is just incredible.

 

Crowded Room is deeply disturbing but really good.

 

I heard it was good.

I'm waiting for the last 2 eps to drop.

 

I’m all caught up. I knew nothing about it going in but it’s pretty fascinating.

 

Finished Crowded Room last night. Man, that was a brutal yet really good show. Tom Holland is amazing as well as everyone else. It really brings to light the horrific shit that happens and how fucked up our society is to just sweep it under the rug.

 

have really enjoyed The Great North (Hulu and Fox).

 

The Great (Hulu) is really good. Three seasons. Highly recommend. If there’s a thread, I missed it.

 

This Fool on Hulu is pretty funny. Cheesy at times, but I like it.

Season 2 just finished up so the binge is about to begin.

 

Posted before but finally found a link with English captions, "Carlos" (3 part series) chronicles the playboy/terrorist life of Illych Ramirez Sanchez who was at one time the most wanted man in the world during the "Golden Age of Terrorism" in the 70s. It's a long 3 part series but pretty well done imo.

His most well known operation (takes up most of part 2) was the raid on OPEC headquarters in Vienna in 1975, taking all of the oil ministers hostage before flying to Algeria and Libya.

I watched a few episodes, it was not funny.

The only thing they got a chuckle out of me was having the designation "space, Cadet" ...

finished 19-2 about 2 weeks ago. weird hearing McMurray with a normal voice.

finished both seasons of Colin from Accounts this past weekend. solid show. thought the last few eps of S2 were well below the rest of the series though.

 

Old show but my wife has been watching "Mom." Pretty funny sitcom, never saw it back in the day

NBC has a new mockumentary show coming out on November 12. Series is from Justin Spitzer, who brought us Superstore.

 

Finally got around to watching this and finished season 1 and I'm really liking it.

Has a Gomorrah feel to it.

 

This comes to an end tonight. I've enjoyed it.
