Is anyone doing this for the year? I know I followed them at the end of last year and they did very well. I would be willing to throw in for the type of deal we did for the hockey. I am not even sure how much it costs though.
The price is $749. You can actually pay $849 for insurance which means if it loses units, you get your money back. I will give you my expertise tho when it comes to RAS. I have been/was on his betting forum for the past 3 years and made some very good contacts over there. He had his best season BY FAR last year in CFB. He is the BEST at what he does in the business no questions about it. But thats where the problem comes in. When his plays get released, lines change in less than 1 minute. So if your no where near a computer your not going to get the line that he gave. With that now, his plays can be found everywhere and I am going to try and start the Service Play thread again once CFB starts. So you will be able to get his plays free there but like I said not with HIS line. Now a little dirt on him. Back when I joined that site in 07/08, there was and still is a chat option there. I was in there every night with the best cappers on the site. We would spit out winners in there like no ones business day after day especially 2nd halfers. Then they got a new mod and he started shit with all of us and we basically got all banned. There were alot of LONG TIME customers of his that got banned so there was a lot of dirt to be spilled. Alot of them landed over on this new forum called betchatter. But the dirt that was spilled from alot of angry people was that Ed (RAS) tells the MAJOR Online Sportsbook what his plays are and when he is releasing so they can act accordingly and change the line. It never was proven but that is the word going around. Also I know of sportsbooks that if you bet all of his plays, they will shut down your account.
BETUS.com...also had my bet limits adjusted by bookmaker when playing their totals. Pretty fucked up.
Really not trying to call you out or anything...but bookmaker is pretty widely known as having some of the highest limits around and being the least shady when it comes to raising and lowering limits. They release the opening lines and regularly take up to $1500 on college football totals openers. Additionally they'll take $3K on totals after Thursday of a week. So unless you were betting like a grand as an average play and hitting at about 60 plus percent it's kind of hard to believe they would adjust your limits. 5dimes for example is a good book that many heavy players can't/won't play at because the max bet is $250 and they kick off the "sharp" players that consistently get the best lines available. The people I know who have had this happen go to Bookmaker. There are guys that play on credit at bookmaker and people who regularly win a shit ton of money on that site and have zero problems whatsoever cashing out. Books clearly know that services like RAS and Dr. Bob exist which is why the lines move within about 30 seconds of the plays being released...but I've never heard of Bookmaker fucking with someone for simply following service plays...
The rumor that we tell the major online sportsbooks what the plays are beforehand is entirely unsubstantiated. Viewing line history for any of our plays will provide evidence that this is not true. The lines do not begin to move until after the play is released to all clients. We are the first to admit that the lines move very quickly as plays are released, particularly for over/under plays. It can be a challenge to get the release line for even the most experienced bettors, but workable solutions can be found through experimentation with different methods and sportsbooks. Those that do find solutions have great opportunities for success using this service.
You're obviously very good at what you do but it's a hard sell to tell someone to pay $750 for a service that releases plays that are going to be almost impossible to get at the #'s they are released at.
It can be challenging, it can be a pain in the ass, but it is definitely not impossible. If it were, we wouldn't have the client following or retention that we do. Many, many clients get the release line (or better) on a regular basis.

If you think getting rid of Goats will make BettingTalk better, then we clearly have much different philosophies on how a sports betting forum should be run. Which is fine because there isn't necessarily a right or wrong way to go about things. Many ways to skin a cat as they say.

I know really don't know much about RAS or any service for that matter, but its pretty obvious that if lots of players all make the same play for lots of $ then the line is going to move super fast. Doesn't sound fishy to me, sounds like you are not very smart.

Just a great post all around. Viewing line history from any line service (Don Best, Sports Options, SBRLines, etc.) will prove that the lines are widely available at time they are released. It should be obvious that any service that has been successful and/or has a large following (in this case both) will move lines with their releases, particularly in smaller market sports.
Great choice of username. I can easily refer you to a baseball capper who has lost -149 units in the last 30 days alone.
