Yo! Let’s post cool real estate near (or wherever) to try and get a get a motherfucker to move. Been looking to move and spread my wings. I am like most, in a wait a see mode (interest rates and WWWIII) but I still like looking. Anyways, check this shit out https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1129-County-Road-252-Clanton-AL-35046/218932214_zpid/?
I understand, I live way south of here but the wife went to college near there. We want to spread out a bit and have been looking. Locally on the coast, shits ridiculous
Not my house but where I live. Crazy expensive https://www.realtor.com/realestatea...hope_AL_36532_M72046-58415?from=srp-list-card
Maybe the cheapest 60 acres in Fairhope vs Clanton prices are way different. My daughter goes to Montevallo and not having neighbors is appealing

That was my plan as a youngin but I got married and my wife’s fam is huge down here. We talk about it all the time especially because my wife is very liberal. Alabama is a beautiful state and the cost of living is very nice.
It’s has changed, for sure. It’s still very nice but more rich people. Not many from my graduating class can afford to live here anymore. I love that the schools are great and my property value has increased significantly. Also, my local Publix has some of the hottest bitches all the time. I like that too
You go to the one by Rock Creek or the newer one? I left before they built the new one. Fairhope is plentiful in white milfy types, but you know they're all Karens
Clanton isn’t the shittiest part of the state, but it’s close. Chilton County had the third highest vote % for Trump in one of the Trumpiest states in America. And, it’s not really a pretty part of the state. You’re far from the coast, not yet to any elevation changes, and there isn’t even the charm of the black belt.
I’ve been looking at land all over Alabama. Have a daughter that goes to Montevallo. I’d like to be on a river or lake and still have acreage if possible. That land I posted wasn’t something I was seriously looking at. Just been kinda superficially looking. I have a great interest rate currently but insurance has increased so much it’s almost a wash.
All I think of when I hear "Clanton" is the town in A Time to Kill, and that's enough for me to think I'd never want to set foot within 100 miles of such a place
You must have gone to one in Sarasota. The LBK one is 90% people over 75. You will see a couple Bentley's in the parking lot though.
I get wanting to be close to her at school. How about this: https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1370-County-Road-759-Clanton-AL-35046/112790076_zpid/
I'm certainly in no position to look down on someone just for living in a shit awful state, but having just looked at Clanton on a map, there's a zero percent chance moving there is a good idea for anybody. You should want more for yourself.
Same qualifier applies - anytime you get the chance to live in the backwoods between Montgomery and Birmingham, you have to do it.
My parents really wanted to put an offer in on this place, but ultimately passed due to all of the current uncertainty. Thanks. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/9775-NE-Shore-Dr-Indianola-WA-98342/23405782_zpid/
