sad that's ruled out even more sad that could be the last time Isco puts the ball in the net for Real
Current mood: WE’RE GOING STREAKING - COME ON, LET’S GO!!! WOOOOOOOOOO!! How in the absolute fuck did that happen?
another goal (and assist) for KB ties him with Raúl for 2nd most in Club history at 323. He did it in 138 fewer matches. legend
lol that’s not a penalty but Militao again completely misplaying the ball for like 4th time today just a god awful effort and performance
Mbappe is obviously the priority and has been for 2+ years. Nothing definitive yet but all reports are the club is confident and the expectation is him signing next month. Apparently the Rudiger deal is signed and finished and he’ll be announced shortly after the CL final. That’s a very solid addition at a position of need. Not only will that add another top pairing CB and improve the depth there but it allows Alaba to play more at LB so they’re not forced to play Nacho or the ghost of Marcelo whenever Mendy can’t go. There’s also been talk of bringing Fran Garcia back from Rayo. He’s a Castilla grad that moved from wing to LB and has impressed there. He’s only 22 and could be had for cheap so that’s another option but will certainly depend on what they chose to do with Miguel G. I can see them loaning Lunin out again to a mid/low mid table team. He’s too good to be sitting all season and needs 1st team minutes at this point. If that’s the case I image they’ll bring in an aging vet to backup Courtois. No idea what the plan for the midfield is. I know they’re big on Tchouameni but so is everyone else and I don’t know that there are enough minutes to convince him to come nor could they rationalize spending $70M+ with the roster they way it is. Camavinga’s promise makes it less of a pressing need and if they can convince Ceballos to stay and take a backup role there should be enough depth anyway.
Rudiger Mbappe Keep Ceballos LB Mid Depth That would be extremely ideal. Modric and Kroos eventually will start to regress (signs of it already although Luka has been incredible at times this season) but the emergence of Kavaminga offsets that.
nothing officially signed as of yet but it sounds like that may be happening tomorrow as apparently there are meetings between the club and his lawyer/agent/family taking place
they officially revealed next season's home kit yesterday and it's awfully meh imo not at all a fan of collars and dislike the sponsor logo being black and not matching the accent color, the light purple is nice but there isn't enough of it the font & numbering is a throwback to the one used on the '02 kit when they won their 9th CL
seems like they alternate every other season and, unsurprisingly, the one's without are always SIGNIFICANTLY better
no Alaba tomorrow sucks and means that it’ll be almost a month between action when he presumably starts next weekend
fuck him & his family/entourage, they played the club in order to maximize what they could get from the Qataris
