It's always sad when someone loses everything but she did a shitty thing that came with severe consequences. Also, she built her brand on being a raging cunt and acting out. I enjoyed her then and her growth on the show, but it is what it is.
projection game here is probably strong given how hard Kathryn proudly clings to that Calhoun heritage
The "monkey in a dress painting" he's talking about is a Donald Roller Wilson. All of his art is animals in human clothes. He did cover art for a couple of Frank Zappa albums.
So after finishing Below Deck Med S04, I started the flagship show season 1. This Adrienne girl is the literal worst -- Hannah is 100x better.
Season 2 of Below Deck, and I just finished the 3rd episode. Spoiler: Dumb, irrelevant, 6 years too late rant This Kelley guy is pretty overdramatic and terrible. Episode 3 made basically everyone look awful except Capt Lee, Ben, Kelley's sister, and Eddie (the Bosun) imo. (It was the episode where the crew found out one of the inexperienced deckhands lied on his resume, and then completely piled on him to the point where they all looked worse than he did. The Kelley guy, or 2nd engineer, was so out of sorts that he threatened to quit if the guy wasn't fired. The piling on factor was too much, because they are so mad that this guy is a liar, while all talking about cheating on their significant others back home during their confessionals. Speaking of that, it was obvious that Kelley and Jennice (deckhand girl) laid in bed at night just talking shit about Andrew (liar on resume) -- literally bonding over shit talking someone, which just makes me dislike Kelley that much more.
Wrapping up season 2 of OG BD... Got introduced to Kate this season. She's got some really awesome moments -- her rocketship and people fonts were rich. Big fan. Kelley by far the most disliked on the boat from my perspective. Kat was awful this season. Ben awesome. Eddie great. Amy and Jennice are decently likable, though Amy is pretty dramatic. They were all hypocrites about Andrew when calling him a liar. I'd be shit TV on this show for multiple reasons, but I'd have trouble shit talking all the guests in the confessionals knowing they would see it later.
So looks like Jax won't survive after all. I guess he commented on the size of a black persons nose in a tweet years ago. Lance Bass is calling for his cancellation. I guess they had some business ventures together, idk.
Him crying after that girl left was great. although: https://decider.com/2020/06/17/below-deck-mediterranean-peter-hunziker-fired/
Might be time to change the thread title. We should be proud of our love for shit TV that we ONLY watch because our wives force us too...
Southern charm is done right? How am I going to keep up with pill head craig? Would definitely watch a Shep spin off...aaong as Chelsea is in it
I bet they roll Austin's girl in full time. That bitch is crazy. Then the super skinny blonde and Kathryn. Kathryn has lost her fucking mind.
Losing southern charm and vanderpump is going to hurt. The camping show is horrible. The sailing yacht wasn't particularly good. MDL (all of them) has been going downhill for awhile. Didn't they try an indian (and mexican?) rich family type show? I feel like those didn't do well. I wonder if they expand RHO or what they do. They may end up giving the two toms there are own show / spinoff.
Thoughts on Malia in the current season? She's ok, and I kind of feel for her, but at the same time she picks bad battles. She spends way too much time trying to establish that she is the boss imo.
I get why shes doing it.. they dont respect her a bosun. Like captain sandy said.. you wouldnt be calling a male bosun sweetie or sweetheart. Shes been solid so far as a leader.. Side note.. love the new chef.
It’s obvious that was going to be a big “drama” plot this year. Guy is a joke calling his boss that, and sandy had a great point. really interested in seeing how they are able to edit him and that plot out of the rest of the season with such short notice
Watching Below Deck Med Season 1 Ep 5.... The episode with the dudes from Oklahoma and an altercation with this guy Danny and this guy Bobby. I have to get this off my chest. Spoiler: 4 years too late rants So, Danny fucked up a lot, but as usual when someone fucks up, they seem to pile on. Danny (5'7 maybe) can literally do nothing right in the eyes of Bobby (6'5), so Bobby keeps pestering and nagging him. Bobby talks down to him, Danny responds in kind so Bobby gets up all aggressively in his face, and Danny kind of pushes him away and not even hard (they are on a tender). The part that gets me is that right after this happens Bryan (the bosun) then tells Danny that he'd have to tell Captain that Danny pushed Bobby. What the fuck. I get it, you don't like Danny, no one likes Danny. Push for him to be fired, sure, but don't go presenting the situation to the captain like that when it's just not true. The injustice of that kind of shit literally makes me sick. Especially when it makes it sound like Danny WHO IS 5'7 is bullying this jacked dude who's 6'5, like what a joke. Ok, finishing the episode now.
I thought it was Spoiler her fucking another guest on charter. But then again that wouldn't make much sense if her current bf is the same one during filming
Bobby completely loses his shit later that season too so you're on the right path with the Bobby dislike
Yep. Which wouldn't really doesn't warrant such a violent and aggressive reaction -- especially when you're literally 2x his size.
"Who is calling her sweetheart" -Pete shame he said racist shit bc he's a solid character. Love how he mopes around after getting his feelings hurt
Can’t believe that they’re still shooting Southern Charm with Kathryn after her basically causing the fallout with the cast and tweeting monkey emojis at people
