They couldn’t have beat us over the head enough with the boat needing a chef and Malia’s chef bf just happening to be coming to visit at the same time. Also guaranteed the drug thing will be the end of next week’s episode and we won’t find out who it is until the following week. They always pull shit like that
Really lame stretching the drugs out over three episodes. Also, lol at the pen and pills laid out for that perfect picture
Gotta say it was a big baby move for Malia to go crying to Capt Sandy just because big mean Hannah wouldn't let her and her bf share a cabin. If Hannah does get fired next week it'll be kinda shitty considering all this shit she could've/should've been fired for over the last few seasons. But at least it'll spawn a bunch of mental health advocacy posts
Sandy handling it the way she did surprised me. I was expecting more of an "I don't have time for this, you guys need to figure this out like adults" reaction.
This is a bizarre take. Hannah didn't have any say in not letting them share a cabin. She tried to stop it out of her own pettiness. Naw, dude. Having drugs on a boat is a huge no-no.
Malia said on andy cohen show that the roommate thing had already been hashed out prior to the drugs situation. Malia says she viewed it as a liability deal and career credibility. Felt duty to tell Sandy (likely given it would have come out on TV ex post facto). If Hannah gets fired, it wont be due to being a shit person over the roomate situation. She has been a shit person consistently.
She did have a say, then Malia went and cried to Sandy because she didn't agree and then Sandy overruled Hannah. I know drugs is a big deal, just my point is that Hannah is now leaving as a sympathetic character because she got fired for her "mental health" when she could've been fired for a litany of stuff over the previous seasons and viewers would've felt it was justified. But knowing the show and how overly scripted everything has seemed it wouldn't surprise me if this was too.
No, she doesn't have a say. She has no authority to make rooming decisions. She obviously *couldn't* stop them from rooming together and was an asshole/psycho for trying. She didn't get fired for her "mental health." She got fired for having valium and a weed pen in her possession while working on a boat.
She has the say, unless the Capt says different. At the start of every season, including this one, the chief stew tells the crew who stays in what cabin. Like I literally just rewatched the beginning of this season and the first 15 minutes of it was Hannah being in shock that Malia was the bosun because had the bosun been a male she would've had him room with the chef.
That's out of cooperation from the others, though. The chief stew doesn't have seniority over the chef or bosun to order them to do anything. And the captain settled the conflict between equal ranks because it was such an incredibly absurd position to take.
This is a stupid debate. So, did Melia narc out Hannah pre-room changes or did Bugs narc out Hannah as soon as they changed rooms.
As soon as I saw the blow torch come out for the nachos, I knew it was game over for Kiko. For such a simple dish, something as minor as using the wrong cheese/using a blow torch to melt the cheese, will completely screw it up and make it look disgusting. I don’t think it was as bad as the Russian lady because other than the nachos, the food looked really good. It was just exceptionally simple. You can’t serve chicken fingers and fries for dinner on a luxury yacht.
https://people.com/tv/below-dec-med-hannah-ferrier-speak-out-drug-accusations/ It's going to turn out to be a CBD pen and she's not going to get fired.
I really despise these shitty blogs thst go into detail of the account and use the characters last names. No one knows their fucking last name. Just be normal and use their first names when talking about it
I think that weed would be worse, because it's illegal there. The pills, if prescribed, would only be an issue because she's working on a boat. I still think Malia had to turn her in. Boats get seized because of shockingly minor amounts of drugs, and the liability for crewmembers under the influence is tremendous.
You'd think if he's serving Americans to just never serve them poached anything, especially after the first 3 times it happened
That too. But I was more talking about Damon. But yeah, the group with the 18" dildo might might have thr most sophisticated pallet
I didn’t know that. Great news. He was awesome aside from the whole banging the psycho in the laundry room.
I'm a week behind on Below deck, just watched last week's ep....my god Tom might be the most dramatic psycho chef we've seen. He's a fucking child
I don't know if they announced it during last night's ep, I just saw it on IG this morning, but here's a preview: https://www.bravotv.com/the-daily-dish/below-deck-season-8-cast-premiere-date-trailer
Posted some racist shit on IG. https://variety.com/2020/tv/news/below-deck-peter-hunziker-fired-racist-1234640679/
