the GF is real, from what my wife has told me. According to her, JT and Venita were "dating" before filming start and it fizzled out. My assumption, based on what is being puzzled together is that he was seeing Venita (before filming) but pulled back. It was either due to the now GF, or he met her after that point, but she came into the picture. Venita had strong feelings and went after him (what we are seeing on the show) before he finally shut it down at that dinner.
Not going to act like I can verify any of this, but my wife showed me some post supposedly made by JT's girlfriend. It was a screenshot of Venita explaining the timeline and the producers messing with it, but JT's girlfriend commented that Venita met her as JT's girlfriend before filming started. So, if true, Venita knew JT had a girlfriend the entire time.
Saw this on Reddit as well. She threatened to post receipts. I find it very hard to believe cringy lil JT has women fighting over him. My wife told me he sometimes goes to her F45 class and just does his own workouts in the middle of everyone.
Not going to dispute any of this, makes the timeline and how it was portrayed even weirder. If this wasnt played up for the show, how in the world does JT's girlfriend not dump him with the way he was acting with Venita. And if she was in fact in his room that night at the hotel, straddling him, then that is wild.
JT's exit from the show should be good TV and then capturing Craig getting dumped after abandoning all of his friends to cater to Paige
She’s had work done but I’m assuming it’s just makeup. With how rarely she’s on I’m sure she has a makeup artist come. I have an irrational dislike for her, mainly because her existence on the show is so incredibly pointless.
Broadly speaking, it's jarring getting into a Bravo show late into the game like I have with shows like VPR & SC, only to go back and binge early seasons and realize how unrecognizable some of these women are due to their plastic surgery
Southern Charm reunion looks good. As I get more into it I haven't been liking Craig so I was kinda liking everyone turning on him toward the end here
Wihun is awful at his job and its hilarious watching basically everyone come for him. I just cant see how he makes it through the next episode.
I withhold some of my judgement regarding the Paige and Craig breakup until after the Southern Charm reunion and the rest of Summer house, but what we know so far has been interesting. The part that bothers me the most has been Paige's complete lack of self awareness that the change in what she wants would have a drastic impact on Craig. I feel like he has been very clear since the beginning that he wanted to eventually settle down and have a family, and she seemingly went along with that idea (even if she didnt believe she would deep down). Obviously, now that her career has changed and blown up, she is choosing to ride it out and get the most out of it. Its not shocking that Craig would feel a certain way about it all, even if he truly does support her growth. Maybe there is more to know and we will see it play out on the reunion and rest of summer house, or maybe there have already been rumors out there. But, from what they have shown it seems pretty straight forward and sucks for both of them.
I think she’s awful. She is doing constant press to bash him and getting her friends on stage with her to do the same.
I am ashamed to say this but I hung out with Craig for the better part of a day in NYC a couple years ago and he was actually a very nice guy.
I feel like she has to do this if she wants to look even remotely good in this situation. She essentially dumped Craig because he wanted to settle down, get married, start a family and progress with her. And as I said earlier, he seemed to be clear on all of this from the very beginning, so it wasn't like he suddenly changes. He even claimed in last weeks episode that he offered to move to NYC, which is wild. Instead, she wants none of that and is now more focused on her career and tossed him to the side, even making him keep it quiet until she wanted it released. Even typing all of that out, she comes across like a terrible person.
We didnt hang out with him/them, but we did a weekend trip to Nemocolin back in 2021. That same weekend, they had Shep, Craig, Pringle, Carl and Austin were there as part of a sponsorship weekend. We ran into them on a few occasions and every time they all seemed to be decent dudes. The final night, my and the wife got dinner at the nicer restuarant and they were all there. Carl knew a couple sitting next to use and sat at their table for a long time. This was within a couple of weeks of him quitting alcohol and coke, and he was telling them all about it. My wife was able to eavesdrop on the whole conversation and heard about all his struggles. We actually felt bad for Carl and were happy he was going sober, even better now to see he has stuck with it for so long.
Wife and I have been rewatching old Summer House seasons. I forgot like 3 years in a row it started out with him getting sober or having a better relationship with alcohol and ended in disaster. Really happy for him that it stuck this time. The girl he’s trying to have be his slump buster this season seems like a total quack though
Paige makes me laugh talking about her career and Craig supposedly being jealous of her success. If she quits her podcast her “career” is over.
My favorite Paige scene this season was when she was whining about not having any time off from “work” while she was being filmed laying in bed in a house in the Hamptons for several weekends in a row
Its genuinely shocking to me that Paige and Hannah have a podcast that would be so popular. Hannah was terrible entertainment when she was on Summer House, and Paige is fine in small doses. Its astonishing to me the amount of people that can do so well from a podcast when they just don't seem like interesting people.
I’m just here to say that Gabby is the absolute worst cast member on Summer House and has been since the season she joined. She brings nothing of value or entertainment to the show. The only thing she offers is stupidly gassing up Lindsay the lunatic. There’s entertaining drama (west and sierra, Kyle and Craig) and then there’s pointless/un-entertaining drama (everything that Gabby causes). Get her off the show.
Lindsay being so fired up about the timing of Carl and new girl (who posted screenshots that she didn't slide into his DMs until after he and Lindsay split), SCREAMS that she had her own thing going on the side while she was with Carl. I know it's Lindsay we're talking about here but you don't get dumped, move on/get pregnant that quickly, and get to still act that scorned.
Ohh yea I agree. I mean, Gabby compelled misrepresented what that girl said. In that conversation at the soft launch, she very clearly says he met her parents in August and then she didn’t talk to him until later. Asking someone “when did you meet him” is not the same as asking when you started talking/dating someone. Shes just awful.. and again, it’s more so that the drama she brings to the show is tiresome and not entertaining. Lindsey is awful and smartly ended the relationship because of it. I don’t need/want more time spent on their relationship.
My wife and I were aghast. She was clearly asking for Johnny and tWihan has the nerve to be like "dude what's wrong I don't even know what's happening" Also don't watch the preview clip on YT if you don't want the resolution spoiled.
I’m a bit shocked that production didn’t step in like they did a couple seasons ago. I’m guessing it all happened so fast that they didn’t have time, but sure seems like they should have given how drunk she seemed.
In the past, when production has stepped in, haven't they had a film crew following the incident? It looked like this one was filmed by the in-room camera. So, to your point, maybe they didn't catch it in time.
It was nice seeing Carl shut down Lindsay like that. And especially fuck her for going after Carl the way she did, knowing full well it was leading into his brother's death anniversary. God she sucks
This was the only good part of the episode. Watching Lindsey get shot down so quickly was amazing. Insane behavior to hold this much hate towards an ex while you are pregnant with another man’s child. She’s also been talking a lot of shit about Carls Soft Bar, she can get fucked for that too. Let’s also not forget that Gabby started this whole thing because she completely misrepresented what the girl said. Also, Jesse doing some scumbag shit this episode and Lexi just blindly going along. Not surprising as I think Jesse has no interest in being in a relationship with her but is scared to end it and still be in the house with her
Regarding Below Deck… Somewhat shocked that Johnny got fired. Seems like there wasn’t that much there to get rid of him, unless they edited out more. Wihan is a despicable person and good riddance. Hilarious that he still tried to play victim. Feels like the craziness in Lara is starting to come out. She really struggles with ideas that aren’t her own.
I don’t think it was anything more than his blowup that night before. Also, in the mid-season trailer, was that a clip of Tsarina and Adair making out that I saw?
gonna guess sailing yacht isn’t coming back. Gary worked for the boat and I don’t see how they film another season with him
Captain doesn’t play. I’m watching the first season of the sailing one and Glenn legit gives the option for Parker to resign or stay. Way more lenient. I think all the captains are pretty awesome, Sandy still prob my favorite.
The ending of this last season absolutely felt like a series finale, especially since Gary is now under SA investigation. Weird series when you think about the entire project. The folks from s1 are all complete non factors in the BD universe.
Judging by Johnny's comments earlier this season, it's pretty clear to me that he was in an MMA gang back home. I don't know why he attached himself to Wihan and was basically playing up the manosphere stuff. But it wasn't a good look. Wihan is full of shit and knew precisely what he was doing. That being said, Lara was pulling the strings on that situation to get him off the boat asap, and Tazarina is a fence rider regarding this type of conflict. If Wihan had been all over her instead of Adair, I think she would have stopped playing mom to Harry during this situation.
