The final would have been better if the final sprint was long or something more grueling The walking across coals thing is stupid as shit.
Yeah that coal bit was stupid as hell. If it was 100 ft long with an obstacle course in the middle would’ve been acceptable but walking across 10 feet and that’s it, just sucked. Team Hunter. Fuck Ashley. He won it by dominating the eating challenge. All of the other challenges were close but he added 11 minutes on the 2nd place team in that eating one. I don’t blame him for all he said about Ashley during the season, she’s a cunt. I probably would’ve said worse.
Yes and it was drinking a shake which joss dominated. In reality it probably added a couple of minutes on the end of it.
in her defense using that was 100% the difference in her winning. On top of that she believed that Paulie/Natalie wouldn't use their grenade on Joss so really she was as responsible for their win was Hunter in regard to the final
I knew as soon as the team announced Ashley was going to win and keep the money. Hunter, I felt bad for him
I can't even remember the last time we had a challenge where the house was divided up into 2 teams. Well when was the last challenge we had of vets vs rookies? Reminds me of the days of Road Rules vs Real World....great memories.
Marie was awful all season, she is so mentally weak and checks out so fast in these competitions and her defense mechanism is to just go off on Cara Her in the final was atrocious
i know it’s been stated but fuck that final was pathetic. the hot coal walk was the most embarrassing thing i’ve ever seen
Caught up on all the episodes the other night -I must say I was impressed with Natalie beating Bananas in that elimination, she looked like she could have stood there for another 5 hours. The thought of how brutal that would be to stand on that stump and hold your arms up for 5+ hours in unfathomable. Shit that may have been harder than the final. -I must say while he started off as such an over the top douche (and wtf kind of shirt is he always wearing in those interviews?!) Paulie may be my new favorite person on these shows. Not only is he a pretty good competitor but he isn't afraid to shake things up by throwing in the big dogs which is what I hate about this new era. Everyone is afraid to throw anybody good in and is consumed with playing a "scared game." -Having watched the reunion I have to almost even feel bad for nelson. Feel like he gets dunked on in every one of those and its been kayleigh doing it to him the last 2. -Shane is the worst. Have to imagine thats who CT was talking about when he said some people on the show ramp up the drama in order to secure future invites -That final was a joke. Marie/Cara lasting what seemed like 30 seconds on that pole while the other teams last for hours just showed how awful Marie is as a competitor. And the fact that they had a house with heat and bathrooms and wine to hang out in after was a joke. I can remember when the third place team had to sleep in a tiny tent in the snow with a towel as a blanket in these finals. -I agree with Cara and that Ashley was always going to take the money and that just was her excuse with the bullying etc. I honestly laughed so hard at Hunter's reaction after finding out he won only for it all to be taken from him seconds later. And then the meltdown where he denied calling her a slut only to then call her a stupid bitch. He certainly carried her though, she quit in most of the daily challenges and was a joke in the eating challenges. -What a stupid move by Joss/Sylvia trusting Paulie/Natalie. Still the fact that they got the grenade thrown at them at the end and they only lost by seconds has to be killing them. Sylvia crying is just a challenge tradition, did not expect to see Joss crying though
not a single person even looked like it bothered them for a second, like it was them walking on newspaper
That should've been part of the final not the stupid hot coals thing. And she took a fucking beating in that Bingo roller.
the MTV app does not work with Comcast or PlayStation Vue (which doesn't have viacom channels). Was this season any good? I stopped after episode 3.
Still think Bananas didn’t say “much” wrong. He said he wasn’t in the mental state to be playing the game in the house with those people and that he thinks Devin is a piece of shit and hopes the Apple fell far from the tree, indicating his dad wasn’t a POS. Maybe don’t bring his deceased father up at all, but he certainly didn’t insult him or “talk shit” about him.
It did feel like nothing really happened in the first few episodes. I miss the good ol' format of Competition leading into a Night Out/Drama leading into Elimination. And the last few final challenges have been weak.
If you thought that last two final challenges were weak, then you'd think this season's was a complete joke. Spoiler It was.
I honestly think he did it because Devin wouldn't leave him alone and because he couldn't punch Devin in the face. He didn't actually say anything bad about the father -- he just called Devin a piece of shit. It's not the best place to go in an argument, but hell, if you keep poking someone they're going to come at you.
Johnny could have taken the high road and easily said "what I meant to say was that it wasn't a good time emotionally for him to come on the show. I worded it poorly." Instead of "your Dad's rolling over in his grave," which was meant to trigger him. but Devin does nothing else, but provoke and desire all this, for personal gain, so fuck Devin.
It cracks me up just how calm Bananas is with Devin just hovering over him within striking distance. He's 100% sure that it's all a tough guy act and that he'll never swing to avoid putting himself in position to never be asked back.
Devin acting tough and then crazy people like Ashley and Amanda walking off the stage because not everyone shared Devin's outrage over Bananas comments.
When did Angela with the big titties get so crazy/violent? That was a strange trashy meltdown on Killer Kam.
I don't know but according to the people at the reunion when it was being taped, Marie and the gay guy(his name escapes me) said that they begged Amanda not to say it.
Devin’s behavior that causes him to go that route is being completely ignored, which is ridiculous. He caused it. Bananas just wanted him to leave him alone and he literally followed him around for what was probably an hour+. Can’t hit him, so what else can you do but bring up the one subject you know is likely to hurt him. Also, Devin is only on the show for drama anyway, so he’s secretly happy about it.
I’ve watched every season up to about 3-4 challenges ago. I don’t know what changed. That shit was engrained in me lol. Would be cool if we could come up with a consensus top seasons or maybe even top moments. Would make for a really fun podcast too. I don’t know if it gets any better than the battle of the sexes seasons. The men handling everything professional and classy minus the puck/Davis spat while the girls were catty as fuck. Was such a joy to see.
I really wish they'd do a big team challenge. Though I guess if they did those the payouts would be smaller and it'd be harder to get people to participate. Now that they're giving away $500K-$1M, it's hard to go back.
I’ll have to ask landon if we can put some rings on our back and see who can get them at our next sales meeting.
