MTV seems to have difficulty with finding events that make for good tv but are also tough. Like being towed over salt looked cool but I would rather have seen them crawl through mud for a mile. TJ such a dirty host!
I'm torn on if I like the finals split up into timed events.... I get that it keeps the contestants hopeful and we don't know exactly who won until it's over.... But I also like when it's one long, drawn out challenge with no breaks (more physically and mentally challenging.) It's fun to see people break down.
Hate that it’s pairs all the time in the finals. Derick did nothing on the puzzle and in the smoke. 80% if not all should be solo challenges. Unless it’s a team or pair based season.
Definitely. They are pretty weak now. They didn't do a single difficult thing. Remember when they legit fucking climbed a god damn mountain?
The season where CT finished in 3rd? That season he was in much better shape than he was this year and that finale crushed him.
I just don't understand how these people don't do more endurance training. Half of them this is basically their career, yet they get gassed out when they have to do some running as if they could have never seen that coming.
I do agree with this...the way they were able to keep resetting and split things up probably saved Camila, that breakdown climbing the wall would've cost her significantly and then she started to meltdown again in that interview with Derrick after the smokehouse challenge
They also need to get rid of the ability to cheat on the puzzle challenges. It's just so dumb when you have one person doing it and everyone else watching them. Like what is even the point of the challenge when that is allowed
The hard part of that final was the fact that it was at high elevation the entire time. Of course that doesn't really translate to television.
Yeah it was much better when they would make them stand on a small log throughout the night then have them run up mountains

Pretty annoyed at how boring the first half of the reunion show was, and doubt I'll even watch next week.
Have to at least record it to find out the winners. I am pretty surprised that Tori got third, figured it was for sure between her and Camila. The VIP section of the reunion seems really pointless

I'll be out of town for the holiday next week so I'm in the same boat; normally I'd not check this thread until I watch the episode but last night was dull enough to where I'll check to find out the winner and fast forward through the recording if it's just as boring
When you triple the purse, you have to pay for it somehow. That being said, a two-part reunion sucks.
I wish challenges werent all about enduracne.. i wanted ct to win but atleast he got some money. I agree above about no pairs unless its a team challenge.
Endurance and altitude were a double fuck-off to CT. Something at sea level -- like in Invasion -- would have been better for him, but add in all that running and climbing with being two miles above sea level and there was no chance for a guy his size. That being said, at least he didn’t start whining and yelling like Zach did in Free Agents.
Pretty obvious Camilla wins. Was obvious when they edited out her racial tirade and minimized her role the rest of the year. They pretty much stopped doing confessionals with her after that episode. Bet they wish they kicked her off.
Its pretty ludicrous if she's the winner to not even have her on the reunion show to announce the winner. Is she even going to be on part 2?

Would be fucked up if Kenny and Evan got banned for the Tonya allegations, yet they have all the Camilla footage of her racist tirade and let her continue. Of course i wish she wouldn't have ever said it, but since she did I wish it would have been to Nehemiah or Ty because they would have made damn sure she was gone for good.
I read somewhere that they aren't "banned" they are just uninsurable and thus cannot compete on the challenge due to the risk involved.Apparently Camilla is on the list now also based on something that happens in the Challengers v Pros show.
Was reading an article about The Miz(GOAT) and him saying he'll never do another challenge again. I don't think anyone expected him to ever do that since he has full time career as a wrestler but he mentioned he was done after doing Inferno 2 due to all the drama. I looked it up on youtube and it appears they have every episode of Inferno 2 on youtube for the long time challenge watchers to nostalgia or the new ones who want to see what it was like when guys like CT, Miz, Derrick, Darrel etc. were in their primes
