we have a source-off
Scheer much more dialed in and trustworthy on this stuff than Canzano
I think the contradictory statements of “meeting was great” and “meeting was fucking useless” is something us office workers are all very familiar with
I flew out of and into KC in late February. It does not look like this. Hope that helps. I was thoroughly unimpressed with the airport.
Easily the worst big city airport in the country. Only positive is you can show up 5 min before your flight takes off.
you barely missed it, the new one opened on 2/28. the old one was horrible and will be demolished this summer
KC is a big city?
Yeah, I just double checked the dates and it was KC to LAX 2/15 and LAX to KC 2/21 so I guess more mid-late Feb.
not really, couple million people, 30ish biggest in the US
Any city with an airport that I can park and get on my flight within a half hour is an elite airport
Boy, you would love Amarillo. Less than 7 minutes from door to gate every time.
Boy I’ve been to Amarillo and love is NOT the word I would use
Which P12 schools have the most racist basketball coaches? Seems like they might be next in line for a B12 invite?
We’ve got people in the bidenpocalyse thread claiming Tennessee has four major cities so this isn’t a new phenomenon.
Chattanooga is not to be denied.
Dude. Texas doesn’t have 4 major cities.
You’ll get there someday, I’m sure.
Canzano sucks, but there is no way you believe this LOL. Scheer was pushing FBI conspiracies during the Sean Miller stuff, he’s a team site guy.
Shit. Forgot Houston.
As a bit? Gotta be a bit
Relatively speaking he’s more credible and measured on this stuff than Canzano. No lols.
Portland Maine. That airport is in the perfect sweet spot. Big enough to offer multiple same day flights, but small enough that security never takes more than 10 minutes, and even that is a lot. Burlington VT also pretty good but not as many flights offered.
Most of us have probably experienced the shittiness of airports that are too big (parking miles away, long security lines, clusterfuck at gates) but there is no worse situation than an airport that is too small. Flew to Augusta once on a prop plane. Flight back was cancelled and there wasn’t another flight out for two days. Not to mention the only available food at that airport was a vending machine.
One of these things is not like the other
Lubbock is a thriving metropolis
Last time I was there my flight got canceled due to a mechanical issue and American paid for a cab to drive me to Boston to catch a different flight
ACC-PAC merger could actually be really cool the more I think about it.
7 games in divison, 2 games opposite division, 3 ooc games, Conference Championship game at Arrowhead Stadium.
Available only on gas station pump TVs in the greater san jose area with total payouts of 750k per school.
They might get lucky and get Quibi to bid on it.
Where did Pittsburgh and Syracuse and all those fucksticks go
the airport on santorini is like comically small. legit standing room only surrounded by euros and barely any AC. think they have a new one now tho
- yormark generated over a million in revenue just by adding floor seats to the big 12 tournament
- yormark, utah, colorado, az schools are speaking on a weekly basis
- bill self and jerome tang outwardly hoping to add arizona (and the others)
- “three industry sources” think that we get at least some of the 4, and if 2 or more leave then the pac-12 is no longer a P5 conference
- pac-12 had the same media deal offer as the big 12 but they sat on it
- oregon and washington aren’t doing anything until the big ten has given a definitive answer which won’t be until after april 17
- younger, hipper, cooler, jay-z’s friend, all time zones, conference of luxury, intersection of sports and culture etc
To be fair, getting stuck there doesn’t sound so bad.
I’ll report back on this in September
the ferries from athens are nice, flying into one of the islands sounds terrible
WE ARE LAUGHING
"I've always thought the Arizona schools, Colorado and Utah are a natural fit for us," Kansas State coach Jerome Tang said. "Who doesn't want to visit Arizona?"
Can't say its high on my list.
gotta think big - these are very reliable ice pop expansion states
I hear the summers are out of this world
As a current Arizona resident, it doesn’t suck.
someones nervous about the price of being the official popsicle of the Big12 going up
*Texas Tech Head Coach Jermone Tang
I also think it doesn't suck here and think many Big 12 fans would enjoy visiting Tempe or Tucson during football season. Just not too early in the season.
Now there’s a shout.
We will continue to grow in the B12 footprint.
DJ Yormark is said to be in discussion with Rocky Mountain National Park and Moab about a revenue sharing model for gate intake.
