It doesn’t start by waiting until you know what the other side’s damages are to break the contract
They don’t either. Clearly.
theyre just so important to the history of cfb that they get to decide their own future
We(FSU) love it here
The ADs are pretty low on the list of people to find out when a school is moving conferences. Presidents and BOTs make these decisions. No AD is talking with Sankey or Petitti come on
Incorrect. Our AD has been given full autonomy on the decision to leave and which conference to join. All of the discussions between the 3 parties have already happened and the BoT and President trust him to make the best decision for the University. And yes, he is having weekly conversations with the B1G and Sankey (himself).
This speaks incredibly poorly to the leadership of Clemson as a university. Lmao
Bad take. You do realized that this wasn't something they said, "we're out...do what you want to do". This situation has been discussed and weighed ad nauseam internally and everybody is in agreement on what needs to be done. Not too mention that they trust the person they all hired. Poor leadership micromanages the situation.
I’m not sure you even know what bullshit you’re trying to parrot
If it’s too complicated for you to follow along, that’s a ‘you’ problem. It’s very easy, with proper context, to understand.
You’re suggesting final discussions and decisions have already been made regarding one of the more dynamic situations school leadership will face. Or, you’re just refusing to admit how dumb it is to actually have an AD in charge of such institutional decisions.
kill me pls
We’re about to win our fourth national championship since joining the acc in the early 90s. I never wanna leave.
Contracts are meant to be broken
Has Clem-Anon left the ACC yet? Or are we still moving the goalposts?
Clemson will leave whenever Jesus H Christ tells them to leave and not a moment sooner.
They will leave at a moment we know not. For as in the days of Noah so shall the conference exit of Clemson be.
Y’all act like October is a month. October is a state of mind, friends.
Clemson leaving is the first seal of seven to be broken. Then we will know it is the end of days.
It's October month somewhere...
present your bids to us
October 2024, not October 2023. Checkmate, ACC dummies!
Clemson AD Graham Neff — Mr. October
Move over, Reggie Jackson!
Then your school has a weak BOT and a huge governance issue
Yikes is that quote a huge, myopic lack of understanding.
His source is me.
I'm the source.
Clemson BOT runs everything. They pull out Thomas G. Clemson's will when in doubt on something
imagine having a weak BOT… lol
This both clarifies and confuses the situation
Saving for when he gets fired
"The calls are coming from inside the house!"
Don’t appeal cowards let them live
someone put the Pac 12 logo on the undertaker coming out of the casket .gif
this is going to end up with something like the Pac West where they merge with some of the Mountain West. And then in 5 years, Stanford, Cal and some other schools will come back and they'll rename it again.
I have been reporting this for over a month
Yeah, but you don’t have a blue check mark.
I assume MWC becomes the PAC?
This is what I said should happen way back when Cal and Stanford were still in the PAC
I’m apparently the MW commissioner
You think they’ll let michigan in?
MW schedule agreement for 2024 and maybe 2025 and then new conference with some MW schools
Cal and Stanford should be kicking themselves for tying themselves to a falling anchor when they could have just waited and made more money in the PAC west without committing to an absolutely stupid travel schedule
can't wait to go to Fort Collins or Laramie and see my precious Beavs
