The ADs are pretty low on the list of people to find out when a school is moving conferences. Presidents and BOTs make these decisions. No AD is talking with Sankey or Petitti come on

 

Incorrect. Our AD has been given full autonomy on the decision to leave and which conference to join. All of the discussions between the 3 parties have already happened and the BoT and President trust him to make the best decision for the University. And yes, he is having weekly conversations with the B1G and Sankey (himself).

 

This speaks incredibly poorly to the leadership of Clemson as a university. Lmao

 

Bad take. You do realized that this wasn't something they said, "we're out...do what you want to do". This situation has been discussed and weighed ad nauseam internally and everybody is in agreement on what needs to be done. Not too mention that they trust the person they all hired. Poor leadership micromanages the situation.
