Does everyone else redshirt most of their freshman to get another year of training in? Idk what the bad things about it would be....my roster is probably more full because of it?
Really? I have an online dynasty with my friend, I am FSU and he is Bama. He redshirted every freshman on the team except for Nico Johnson. Every last one of them. Trent Richardson? Fluker? Dre? Redshirted. Crazy shit. I was about 50/50, redshirting: Secord, Pryor, Gehres, Smith, Prior, Orelus, Rhodes, Demps and playing: Thompson, Haulstead, Stork, Jenkins, Jacobbi, Demonte, Reid, Harley
Yeah, I seem to RS 90-95% of my freshman, unless they have a chance to start. Even 2nd team gets RS unless there is a HUGE diff, between 2nd and 3rd. I think it pays off.
If they are not gonna start QB they get RS. I go after speed Qb's so any extra year to help their arm is good. I pretty much RS every position for FR except maybe WR at times.
