GDP is officially problematic now
I feel shocked.
Going to be interesting to see how these cases go. I wonder how they can prove their claims.
At first I'm like, they sign a release right?, but then in that article it says they sign it under pressure, sometimes after being served alcohol, it's misleading, etc. Seems bottling for these girls to think it's just going to be seen by "private collectors overseas" but sounds like they were misled in that direction
Even if they win their respective cases I have no remorse for them. They were paid to fuck on camera knowing fully well how the internet works. They only even get to the hotel because they were informed that they intend to make a porn video. So they can suck a dick - hopefully on camera.
I do feel sorry for them if they for whatever reason regret participating in those videos now.
However I can still rub one out to them.
this is awfully shortsighted
I doubt they understand as well as your typical male with lots of experience visiting porn sites. You could say maybe they should do research on an industry they're entering but idk
Hey, I look at porn all the time and I have no idea how the Internet works. Tubes and magnets I think.
If and I say if they were drunk when signing I would be on their side. But there were countless girls that went for a second round. I'm pretty sure one of them is suing.
you can watch some of them and see how fucked up they are. yes some of them were aware they'd be fucking on camera but if that video was distributed by GDP without their permission then that's not cool.
I've met her a couple times - have a mutual friend. Was completely unaware she did porn until just now and based on her instagram is apparently still doing it.
Edit: apparently she had a pretty bad eating disorder a while ago, I feel like shit now.
It's without a doubt written that it would be distributed by GDP. The porn industry is heavily regulated. They've made over 500 of these films. Theres no way they'd make it that far without having their I's dotted and T's crossed.
The only argument they have is their verbal agreement and pressure to sign were unlawful.
I could be wrong but ive never gotten the impression any of the girls were drunk. But I'm not going to argue about either. It's well known drugs are all over the industry.
Well that sorta explains why she looked like she was dead inside. It was pretty bad. One of the worst GDP they made.
According to Vice, they were not told it would be distributed by GDP.
The women suing Girls Do Porn allege that they were manipulated into signing contracts—sometimes under the influence of alcohol served by Girls Do Porn, or while being bullied by men in the hotel rooms where the scenes would take place, with a cameraman and male porn performer standing at the ready.
"The girls are lied to leading up to and while they're signing these agreements," O'Brien told Motherboard.
In a court filing, O'Brien alleges:
Just prior to filming, and after doing the model's makeup and hair, they [Girls Do Porn] present purported release agreements to sign and read to the young victims, which are missing terms, including price and their website – and while distracting the models, rushing the models, misrepresenting the content and alleged effect of the documents, and often having served the models alcohol (many of whom are underage – in fact, one plaintiff filmed the day after her 18th birthday, Mr. Pratt [one of Girls Do Porn's owners] and Defendants having recruited her to fly across the country for a sex video when she was a minor. Defendants provided her with a birthday cake during the filming process to emphasize her having just reached the age of consent).
The agreements they signed with Girls Do Porn are multi-page contracts full of fine legal print, and make no mention of the videos being posted online or even the name "Girls Do Porn," according to O'Brien. "So they do sign something, but they never get a copy of it. The first time they ever see it is in this litigation," he said.
The future of the casting couch is girls coming in and on camera showing two forms of ID, blowing into a breathalyzer, acknowledging verbally they are not under duress, and signing their contract reading aloud highlighted sections of who and where the videos will be distributed.
I have a new fetish.
I've mentioned this before, but this is what the super-rich do with their escorts and girls that are on the program before they have to read a statement verifying what they agree to do during the course of the relationship and then sign an NDA on camera.
Given your extensive knowledge of the industry and your posting last night, I can only assume that you have/had a relative in the business?
What did I post last night?
It’s all ball bearings these days.
No one ever told Kraft.
Yea I still don't know wtf he was thinking - he probably gets roasted by the other seniors at Mar Lago these days.
Only thing I can think is it made him feel a little alive. Go get a handy in a strip mall he could buy outright.
