Republicans acting as if they’re mature in anyway shape or form is always hilarious.
i dont get the side thing first off, this isn't binary
but also just ignoring people is the solution you seek
Right, because if I don’t like you I avoid you. I don’t seek out conversations with people I don’t like.
You don’t see me bitching in your thread about Joe. You won. Congrats. Let’s see how he does. I go on about my day. I ignore him. It’s not hard. I find it difficult to understand for people to consume themselves with things they don’t like.
I’m going to eat dinner and and watch FSU vs UF baseball.
Thanks Mister Me Too for the link earlier. I will read and see what I think.
Instagram has to be passing them relatively soon in terms of overall "eyes on" - the engagement metrics are like 17:1 even though Facebook has way more active users.
Just a random fact.
you bragged about your glory days in high school because people laughed at your backwards republican opinions. very adult like
literally none of this has anything to do with anything I said
The smoothest of brains
The part in bold is also a massive issue. Simple fucks see this shit as a game because they're not affected by awful republican policies... At least the brain is too smooth for them to realize that they're being affected.
No on this fucking board wanted to vote for Joe Biden. A majority of us really don't like him but it was either a neoliberal or a white supremacist that tried to fucking the overthrow the US government. That's a pretty easy choice unless you are a white supremacist yourself.
LA has been interesting today (as I'm sure have other areas of California) - basically everyone in the hospitality industry, which is heavily liberal, wants to recall Gavin Newsom.
In Newsom's speech today he said that the main proponents of the organizational structure of the recall are a guy that's basically a proud boy and a guy that wants to put tracking devices on immigrants.
Interested to see how this plays out.
What is the GOP doing to address ANY of these concerns?
They will repeal an act addressing them, that’s for sure
let's be real Newsom is just another neoliberal, I'd be interested to see if California would run an actual progressive for that position if they could get Newsom out. a Republican is never winning there, so if they run an actual progressive the could back fire big time on right wingers.
Actually should just make it exceedingly easy to become citizens. A black market like that is almost always in response to no legitimate market. Make it easy to become a citizen and poof illegal immigration would be nearly nonexistent.
But a lot of people don’t like that answer because brown people
Immigration policies are one of those things that will always prob suck in this country because it requires us taking responsibility for making those people's home countries uninhabitable
Also decriminalize or legalize all drugs and you’d cut off a lot of cartel activity
Kavanaugh is credibly accused of rape and Republicans swarm to defend him and attack his accusers.
Cuomo is credibly accused of harassing women and Democrats in local, state, and federal office positions call on him to resign.
DoubleDutchBus looks at this and thinks, “you know it’s the republicans who were treated unfairly.” You’re a fucking moron, my guy. Wake up.
Reminder War Grundles mom has classy tattoos
Regulating and taxing drug sales would also be a huge money maker for the country and save a ton of lives in the process. It would literally win the war on drugs for America.
And it’s also a racial justice issue what with minorities being disproportionately targeted by police for drug offenses. And bail, verdict, and sentencing disparities and all the things
Joe Scarborough was a Republican Congressman. Nicole Wallace worked in W’s White House. “This is a leftist network,” the smartest people in the world.
How good is your inkjet?
I think a really cool thing would be providing subsidies to minorities that want to start up their own dispensaries. Also locking any current or former legislator out of investing in any drug related businesses for the rest of their lives due to all the harm they've caused.
I don't think there's any doubt about that. I actually haven't seen much about what the field is even expected to look like.
Watch us end up with another celebrity.
Are undocumented Canadians illegals? What about Brits, or Germans who came here on work visas and never left? What about Malenia Trump, who came here on an undeserved Einstein Visa?
Borders are fake and arbitrary and the only difference between you and someone from Matamoros is where your moms pussy was when she had you.
Down with decriminalizing, but not sure if I want heroin or crack to be legal.
Heroin is already legal in pill form so is meth
Yeah, and we have seen the problem with that(specifically on the heroin side) and "most" doctors aren't prescribing like they used to. You also just can't go up to a store and buy those pills.
You're not going to be able to just go up to a store and buy heroin and crack either. Comon my dude
shit target minorities who did time for growing, selling, and possessing.
Fuck it, give them a piece of tax income as a form of reparations. They don't have to work anymore. Just straight cash for the equivalent of the time they were in jail.
A well regulated market is much better than a black market. The question is just how it’s regulated. Like, just because these things are illegal doesn’t mean people aren’t consuming them.
The line for reparations should start with men given 20 years for crack possession while white people did mountains of cocaine for fun. I can wait they they get unfucked.
Hell, even a poorly regulated market is better than a black market. At least you aren’t going to jail for engaging in it and it’s adding to tax revenue. There’s literally no benefit to society to those things being illegal besides prison corporations making money. And cutting off societal growth of a large chunk of black men so whites feel superior
DoubleDutchBus you simple fucking tool
Legalize, take all money used for police drug enforcement and imprisonment and put it towards rehabilitation, education, child welfare, social work, and economic investment.
But what about all their tactical gear and tanks? Never mind, they’ll find some other way to use them to oppress monorities
So what constitutes legal and not decriminalized?
Agreed, I just fail to see a safely regulated free/legal market for heroin or crack. If it's doctors prescribing that's one thing(although a path we are currently dealing with)
In my original post I said that I am very down for decriminalization.
NoBoDy Is TaLkInG AbOuT cUoMo.
The hilarity that would ensue if this happened would be incredible.
Royal family would lose their minds.
My issue with decriminalization versus legalization is you get a lot of the same downsides with decriminalization but none of the benefits of legalization (tax revenue and heavy regulation in particular). You’d probably still have a black market which is what I’m talking about combating.
Like, take weed. Who sells that shit illegally in states where it’s legal? Nobody.
Can you buy morphine in a store? No
Are you going to spend 20 years in jail if you have it without a prescription? Also No
I’m going to be honest here if people want to do crack I don’t really want to tell them not to even if I think it’s a terrible idea. As long as they’re adults, that is. But I think we should combat the things that make people turn to those drugs in the first place (poverty and lack of opportunity in particular). Probably better to be proactive about diseases of despair ya know.
That whole "No one is talking about Cuomo" shit is such an outrageous lie it's on par with the stolen election shit.
