Okay... it's time to get excited. Just don't know if I should buy it on PC or PS4. Love to resell when I'm done, but the PC graphics are going to be so good.
I bought the RE7 & RE8 bundle on Steam and am working my way through 7 first before jumping into 8. I haven't played RE in a very long time. Like maybe RE2. Have to say I'm enjoying it a lot. It's more like playing a movie, and I'm fine with that.
7 is criminally underrated. I’d say the two most underrated games of the last generation were RE7 and Dying Light
I thought RE8 as a whole was a better game, but the beginning of RE7 was so good. House Beneviento in RE8 is so damn good. They do tie RE1 to RE8 towards the end.
I know this is a super hot take but…. RE4 was the downfall of RE. Code Veronica should get a remake first.
RE4-RE2 remake- RE7-RE5- RE2- RE1- I honestly wasn’t a huge fan of those dog shit camera angles in the early ones
RE1 Remake>RE2 Remake>RE3>RE2>7>8>CV>RE4 I never played 6 after I saw that the logo looked like a giraffe getting a BJ
I thought RE4 was a great game. I just hate it for what it did to the franchise. I hated RE8s over the top moments.
The RE4 on Oculus is super fun, definitely better than the original platform. I haven't finished it yet. I'm on the palace level, I'll probably grab that remake though.
RE4 being “not that good” is an absolute trash opinion and makes me think you have shit opinions on video games (no offense). That being said.. that shit above just looks like RE4 but nicer. The RE2 remake was a huge upgrade from the original but that looks like it’s just a makeover
RE4 was the beginning of the downfall of the series. As a stand-alone game? It was good. As a Resident Evil game? Not that good.
