Nah. DBL made this about himself because that's what he does. Everyone else posts about their dogs in the dog thread. It's fine though, I'm not mad about it or anything. Mourn however you want. I was just pointing out something that stood out to me, that's all.

Again, I'm not mad about it. When it all boils down to it, the mourning process is really about those left behind. So I guess it makes sense that DBL is one of, if not the only dog owner to start their own thread about their dog passing.
Dbl sucks on arguments, he also seems to have a huge heart when it comes to causes on here. We had a few Christmas things where dbl gave way more than anyone. I personally think his compassionate side means more than his stupid arguments but that's just me and feel he's a good person. Will still call him a dumbass occasionally. He puts himself out there more than most on this board so sorry if I maybe know about his dog more than joe blow that only posts on his team thread.

Remember the good times and anything that hurts this bad to lose, must have been so worth loving these past 11 years. My nephew just turned four. When my grandmother died last week and my sister told my nephew about it, he asked if Grandma was going to live with Socks (their cat who died over a year ago). It’s crazy that’s the first thing he thought of. Sorry for your loss dblplay1212.
I had a pug that I loved for 8 years. My child was born and I had to give the dog up for adoption because my son is so allergic to dogs that we have to carry an Epipen everywhere we go. I thought about crying like a bitch on the message board about the dog I lost, but...wait...no...I didn't...IT WAS A FUCKIN DOG. I loved that dog and always have joked around in post about how Pugs are almost like having kids, but ya know....IT'S A DOG. Stop kissing his dick and tell him to man the fuck up.

Had an English growing up - such a tough breed knowing that realistically they're going to pass so soon on average but honestly not sure I could ever buy another breed after having one. That sucks man - I legitimately feel for ya.
I appreciated the dog photos and the opportunity for someone to attach to a community forum something they were going through But, if I didn't - I could have chosen not to even click on the thread and avoid it entirely Regardless, losing a pet is miserable
