Have you ever owned a Samsung S8 Edge? It's literally the worst. It just corrected worst to we orst as I typed that. I wouldn't even wish this phone on an SEC fan. It just edited wouldn't to would in that last sentence.
I don’t want to be inaccurate since this was a while ago - but fairly sure ours had over 10 surgeries and constant other procedures even being a pretty expensive purebred (ear infection, eye infection, lack of cartilage in back legs, intestinal surgery). It sucks. You start to question if they are actually enjoying their life.
I spent thousands of dollars to save my Pugs eye. The extra drama that goes into these types of breeds is exhausting. I've never had a car payment, so in a lot of years my Pug was my biggest expense outside of housing and food.
Also the amount of pills is just so concerning - 3 different allergy medications and other things in addition to that to ensure organ functionality. I just started feeling bad for him every day - and they can’t talk to you to let you know what’s going on so you’re somewhat helpless to make them feel better.
there is a 0% chance that it corrected 'worst' to "we orst" unless you have been saying "we orst" a ton
I've had many different phones, I'm currently typing on a Samsung. Never have they auto corrected me into nonexistent words. But notice how the quoted post was typo free, almost as if it was a you problem all along.
It's not the phone, its the fact you have typed it wrong on numerous occasions and didn't correct it. They phones are using the same keyboard and same auto text AI. The reason I know this, us because i suck at typing too. It's ok
Not saying it’s the norm, but in 8.5 years my Bulldog never had any significant health issues or vet bills. He developed some arthritis the last couple years in his left arm and ultimately had to be put down due to a tumor in his spinal column that paralyzed him within a week, but overall he was a very healthy dog over the duration of his life.
I think its hit and miss and why you have to be really careful who you get them from. They sell for so much that some breeders just pump them out for paydays.
I walk Groot close to two miles a day 5-6 days a week. I am lucky that Flash is okay to make it to grass when I take her down to potty. Both are great personality wise, sweet loving pups but they couldn’t be more different when it comes to health. That’s why Flash is fixed and Groot isn’t and I might breed him depending on me finding a healthy female.
Ugh the vet just called and his remains are ready. His paw print isn't ready yet bc they had to order more paint. She said we could wait and get it all but no way I leave him there. He needs to come home. Gracie still asks about him daily. Her pre-school teacher said she woke up from her nap calling for him yesterday. When he wasn't there, she started crying for her mom. She's not much of a crier either so that just breaks my heart. We miss you big guy.
Just read this. Sorry Dbl. I remember the rivals board thread when you were trying to pick his name. Hang in there!
I don't even remember how we came up with his official name. He was always going to be Bear. Officially he was Bear Among Dawgs bc of our fandom and his pedigree. It's pointless for me to stay at the office after getting that call. I'm just going to get my guy and take him home.
I mean where do you put the remains of a lost pet? Just the idea of knowing that they're there whether real or not. Idk what I received from the vet's office. But I know this box I have is supposed to have my girl in it which I miss so much every day. We just have her box in the bedroom by the tv with a picture and a paw print. But I still look at it every single day and miss her so much.
Ha na it's just a packet of his hair. Didn't really need it, I'll be finding his hair in my clothes, car, couch, and anywhere else he went for at least 5 years.
That sneaker collection is amazing. Also, my old dog is in the same (or just about the same) box. It’s on the shelf in my home office. Would be high on the priority list of things to grab in a fire.
This one hurts, Bear's been with us for the entire TMB existence it seems. My heart goes out to you dude. Definitely get another boy, dbl. It may take some time, but definitely get another one. You'll love the next one just as much, just different. It took me two months when Chopper Bubba passed before we adopted Champ Bailey. I like big boxer boys. Chop was 7-8 and 90 lbs when he came to me and Champ was 5 and is about 65. Both from Atlanta Boxer Rescue. Dogs are a labor of love and absolutely worth the heartbreak in the end.
I miss him so much. Everyone loved him so much. He was a big ole lug that didnt mind if you played with his squishy face or tugged on his lips.
I've had 2 bulldogs. One died pretty young, suddenly. Was otherwise healthy before that, but after that we decided to go all out and get a more top of the line bloodline bulldog. He was a great dog, never had a health issue, until he got cancer (lymphoma) when he was 8. He went downhill pretty quickly, but we got him chemo and the whole thing, he responded well, was cancer-free. Then 2 months later it came back. It's hit or miss, but at least doing your homework can help improve the odds of getting a healthier dog.
Gracie got a bulldog riding horse thing this morning. First thing she said was "Big!" and then hugged him. I'd be lying if I said I didn't tear up. Christmas morning wasn't the same without him. Miss you, big guy.
