Quite a life
RIP Mr. Bloom
Damn. Seemed like he was still in such good health the last time i saw him do anything in public. 98 is a hell of a life though.
You’re all aces in my book, but I want the last check I write to bounce.
Such an incredible man and life. Went out fighting for peoples rights til his last day.
The term gets overused but he was truly iconic.
When Mel Brooks goes it will be a dark day in my life.
the maron interviews with him and mel brooks were great.
Man that fucking sucks. A true legend.
Ha! That’s pretty funny
True legend. Feel really bad for Mel Brooks right now. That was his best friend. That Comedians in Cars episode where they said they eat dinner together every night was awesome.
Legendary career aside, this is legendary posting
^ that was great
Going to watch that tonight.
jordan and pippen of comedy

So are we.
From that Matthew Rosenberg story .. talk about an all-star lineup
"Growing up my dad and his twin brother fell in love with Sid Caeser's Your Show Of Shows. It is the show that made my dad fall in love with storytelling and comedy. They worshipped Caeser along with castmember/writer Carl Reiner.
"Caeser, Reiner, and the other writers on their show, including Mel Brooks, Neil Simon, Larry Gelbart, and Woody Allen, all made my dad and uncle want to be writers, which they both ended up being."
Damn, I’d have loved to be a fly on the wall listening to those 2 every night
