people that aren’t old die from pneumonia still?
Slow news day
If they have an autoimmune disorder imo
Googled to see who he is. Was hoping this wasnt his page for an upcoming wedding, but unfortunately it is
according to Twitter today was his bday too
And when I clicked on his Twitter bio, the birthday balloons started going across the screen
he covered the SEC for espn
guess I’m more familiar since he covered the gators 10 years ago but apparently we feel differently about his passing
Jesus that’s horrible
wasn’t that familiar with his work but seemed to come across as a decent guy
Fucking fuck. Ed was legit good people. Lotta people around Ole Miss and Oxford are sad today.
God this is horrible
Man this sucks I really liked Ed
Was he mainly on secn? I don’t recognize him from espn
Damn I remember when he first started. life is cruel.
Damn. Never miss an opportunity to tell your loved ones how much they mean to you. RIP.
My cousin's husband (army vet and police officer) died of pneumonia a couple years ago at 32. They had just found out they were pregnant the week before.
not familiar with him but this thread has the feels man
jesus that’s brutal /:
Not relevant in this circumstance.
Reading his twitter account is awful. He apparently had a virus back before Thanksgiving. I guess it wore him down.
comment wasn't really needed, just my grievance with the media
Probably a variety of more pertinent threads to air that greivence
yea sounds like he had it for a week or so and then worked/attended the OSU/Michigan game in the freezing ass cold.
Definitely read some of his work, the name is familar, but didn't know much about him.
My ~40 year old cousin has pneumonia right now. Fluid in both lungs. They had to do a tracheotemy yesterday I think. Shes like a 3 pack a day smoker too, so it's been rough. Sounded like she was getting better but no idea really.
"Never gets sick and has a very good immune system" is exactly how I'd describe myself ...
Damn, that's terrible. RIP
Not trying to be facetious or a smart ass, but it's terrible that his poor fiancé won't event get his life insurance. Money won't compensate for grief, but it can at least lessen the stress in other parts of life.
And being 34 myself, its crazy to think of dying at this point in life. Already feeling the aches and pains of getting older, but that young dumb invincible feeling hasn't fully disappeared yet.
Don't have to be married for LI purposes, but yeah hopefully they had their bene situations updated already ...
Nice tribute to him during the BYU/Hawaii game
Much too young
Me too....that shook me a bit.
This is terrible news.
He was from Oxford but went to Florida. Really talented guy who covered the SEC and did SEC network spots. He had just recently, within the last year or so, gotten a national CFB gig with ESPN.
Devastating. Hung out with him a few times in Oxford and he was always a super nice guy. Pneumonia at 34? Fuck, hug your loved ones
So, you’re saying she’s single?
