Assume this was talked about in movie thread but guy is worthy of a thread. Did a helluva job as Sonny Black
Probably an idiot for this but liked the ESPN poker series Tilt where he was the main villain, lots of high school era nostalgia.
Youtube channel that has all 8 episodes, it's a guilty pleasure despite the fact that like every hand showed involves main character having a flush or just a cold deck. Not necessarily related to cheating poker-wise but it was pretty accurate regarding the scumbag factor of poker players, in particular the ones who were well known prior to the poker boom. They're degenerate gambler lowlifes who happened to find their talent lay in poker and no one should ever trust them. https://www.youtube.com/@travischlouber1671
All episodes are in the link above, weirdly it was really tough to find before that. Playmakers was the real gem that was fucking prophetic for so many NFL issues these days.
Big fan of tilt But especially wished anyone besides cowardly espn picked up playmakers bc that show was awesome
I think any serious fan could infer a lot of the issues we see but the qb worried about hits/popping painkillers, gay receiver in the closet, and aging rb held up as a family man having a kid he never sees were particularly ahead of their time in early 2000s.
