Really improving on this because it is the perfect game because i can get a few matches in even with a baby/toddler. Almost diamond in pretty much all ranked, sitting at plat right now. my best save in my 4 years of RL
Just noticed this thread. A girl that used to be my neighbor is dating the dude who started Psyonix. He must have made a killing when they were bought by epic bc she posts videos flying in private jets and just partying all over the world. Makes me real jelly.

I keep the chat but also don't let it affect me. But getting to that point took years so I don't blame anyone for disabling it
The RL community just isn't worth interacting with. Terrible people all around but maybe that's just a gaming problem
I’ve picked it up again as well. Can’t get out of plat 3. it’s like the perfect competitive rank where people think they are good but are terrible
Plat ranks are poison. It's been awhile since I was in them but I vividly remember how much it sucked. Lots of toxic fools who aren't good enough at the game to know when they make mistakes therefore their teammates are always the problem. And it's so hard to win consistently enough to climb past because there's still so much unreliability
Yeah I think the main difference between diamond and plat is diamond players reliably know how to play with their teammates for the most part. The mechanical skill gap isn't very wide between the two it's just mostly that
I mean mechanically speaking I'm on the lower the end, but the workshop and dribble/ ring challenges have really improved my game. I got to diamond because of ball sense, defense, and rotation knowledge.
