If the Royals are looking for LH pitching to the point they're looking at Liriano I'm surprised they aren't talking to the Dodgers about Ryu. He's not good but he's probably better than Liriano and he's cheap.
I'd assume that ya'll would like to keep Ryu around in case of injuries. (McCarthy and Kershaw currently, right?)
Ideally yeah but they have stewart and kazmir bouncing around too. Plus they may deal for a starter. They can definitely move backend guys.
Burns can't come up cause you have to be down 10 days before you can come back up. A trade or some random arm are the options here.
Nightly post game Hud convo: Hud: "Hey JOEL, don't call that park ranger, let the Moose stay loose. He's got other issues to take care of, HA" Joel (confused): "The park ranger at Seattle?" Ryan (disgusted)[As they go to commercia]l: "What other issues would a park ranger have?" Hud: [psychotic laughter]
At least make the rumors plausible. Howie Kendrick was just traded to the nationals Melky Cabrera can't get traded with his awful contract to anyone We're on Jay Bruce's no trade list Lance Lynn will probably be a Royal for a career AA player.
*Looked it up, Melkys contract is bad and I guess isn't "awful". He's making $15 million this year, I thought it was closer to $20, I apologize for my drunken ranting.
Melky is a known PED user. And I'm of the opinion that the Royals need more guys like that so I would be totally on board with trading for him.
Friendly reminder that we kept Frenchy and let Melky walk... Spoiler Yes, I know we offered them the same contract and Frenchy signed it and Melky waffled on it
Winning makes a good clubhouse, I think it will be okay. The only way I could see it causing an issue in the clubhouse is if whoever he replaced in the lineup doesn't like getting benched. But I would like to think the most likely candidates to be benched (Gordon or Moss) are professional enough to take it in stride.
I think I've correctly answered about 75% of the broadcast trivia questions. I watch too much damn baseball.
Can we get fucking Jack out of the 8th fucking inning. What, he's had 2 maybe 3 Fucking clean innings all year? And what the fuck was up with Drew? He have money on the wrong side of this game? Fuck.
I have a hard time blaming Soria for giving up a run against this offense, especially considering Ned most likely made it harder on him by putting Buchter in instead of Minor in the 7th. Soria has been super unlucky this year, and I will fucking fight anyone that says otherwise. He's an easy target because he's associated with the losing years and he was bad last year.
