Well, only one of those pieces actually panned out. So even if we stood pat, we'd still have a bottom-5 system.
This is a common misconception and probably why Dayton has been given a free pass by fans. Manaea was good before injury but he's the only guy that really amounted to shit. I guess Wil Myers and Odorizzi could be counted in this area as well but they were 2012 trade guys.
Our pitching is such shit most of that draft class are going to end the year in at least Double A. Makes more sense also since all the college players are around 21 years old.
https://www.kansascity.com/sports/mlb/kansas-city-royals/article231768213.html Drafting college kids bc dont have the money to sign HS kids who want more money to forego school. Seems like we spent so much on Witt the rest of our picks werent as impressive. Simply couldnt pay above slot for anyone .
I think that may be a blessing in disguise. With the Royals seemingly unable to develop prospects, especially pitchers, I'm fine getting some more polished guys that are closer to the end of their development cycle. Less time for the Royals to screw them up.
Trust the Process We mocked it the first time around and look what happened. Maybe we're on the right track again!
Anytime Gore/Hamilton are at bat and don’t attempt to bunt their way on base I should be allowed to punch them in the dick.
I'd rather dick punch the guy who thinks they belong on the roster in the first place but what do I know
Has anyone else noticed there is basically no secondary market for tickets this year? I checked SeatGeek and there were 5 pairs for sale and stubhub had like 15 pairs. Every other year there’s always hundreds.
I think you guys want to punch dicks just to be able to say that you touched those fellows' pee-pees lol
if he’s not called up after the all star break then I’m gonna wish that ned yost leaves after the season if he is called up after the break then I’ll still wish ned is gone
Loved me some Gore during the playoff runs but he just isn't a Major League player. Career Hits: 15 Career SB: 40 Cheers to the GOAT playoff base stealer of all time
We’ve never lost a game that Bubba has started and yet the geniuses in this organization let him toil in the minors for 8 years. SMDH.
Merrell looks like a utility infielder with decent glove and really limited power. Great trade lol He was batting .246 with 2 hrs in like 275 at bats in AA at 23 years old. I guess they need someone to replace Starling as the next 26 year old call up lol
Makes this kid a good pick for us @ #3-4 next year then. Super fast, great defender, decent contact hitter https://www.perfectgame.org/Players/Playerprofile.aspx?ID=516757
