I think it is time to shake up the lineup. Get Esky out of the leadoff spot, he doesn't get on base enough to hit there. Something like: Cain - Moose - Hoz - Morales - Gordo - Rios - Sal - Esky - Colon. Also, can we get Infante out of the lineup please. 0 HR, .246 OBP?! At least give Colon a shot and see what he can do with regular at bats. He has 6 walks in 60 AB so at least he shows some plate discipline.
neat Blair Kerkhoff @BlairKerkhoff 38m38 minutes ago Ned Yost says he was told by mlb today that mlb office got replay call wrong last night.
It's somewhat bizarre how awesome the hitting is against Kluber this year, some of his recent outings have been phenomenal
Just a painful game to watch with how slow Young works. Now Frasors spent half an hour to throw 20 pitches it seems.
Frasor has one of the most odd statlines I have ever seen: 11/10 K/BB ratio in 16.1 innings. 0.55 ERA, 1.71 WHIP. As much as I hate the Indians, I really like their pitching staff. They are loaded with power arms capable of getting K's whenever they need them.
It seems like if they are going to hit they have to have a pitcher that is close to the strike zone because they swing at everything and won't take a walk. They make pretty good contact when they can reach the ball. Bauer last night would have walked ten if they would have let him.
Fuck this offense has reverted back to old times and it's infuriating to watch. I knew the power wouldn't last all year but I thought the averages and cluster hitting could stay good enough for us to take a nice step forward. Really worried that the sox and Indians will be back in the picture before we know it.
We make every shitty ass sinker baller that can't find the strike zone look like cy young. Every damn time.
Counting the zero we'll score tonight and disregarding the wind and dexter fowler aided outburst in wrigley were averaging 1.44 runs per game over the last 10.
@BooneOWH: Last month at @WernerPark, the @OMAStormChasers scored seven runs off of Chi Chi Gonzalez in 4.2 innings. He just shut out the @Royals.
Last night's game was one of the most boring games I have attended. I don't think we had an extra base hit and there were 0 moments where I felt we were in the game. The crowd was as quiet as it was when I was a kid and we were drawing 10k a night. But then again, it was ladies night so most people were probably gossiping instead of watching the game.
I thought Yordano was going to start something when his 3-0 pitch to Andrus grazed him. I think it is safe to say he was trying to plunk him. He looked like he lost his cool...again. He really needs to get some composure and stop acting like a teenage girl on the mound, it is getting old. Glad Hosmer took him aside and basically told him to stop being such a pussy and pitch.
Facebook feed is littered with shitty STL fans talking about #BFIB. We must be playing them this weekend?
