The Seahawks fanbase would gladly trade Russ for Dak straight up. We need a team-first kind of guy like that, not some diva
Other than possibly the Saints, I'm at a loss for why he would want to go to those other organizations. Seattle seems like a well run franchise, unlike the disaster that is the Texas, that has given him a lot of playmakers around him. They've been pretty good there for a long time. Yes maybe they could upgrade the OL a little but that seems like a pretty easy fix... draft an OL and sign one? Why would you complain about OL play and want to go to Chicago? Dallas and the Raiders are always a mess, I don't see how those situations are better than what he has now. This is weird and just seems like a bluff
Bears, Jets and Cowboys at least put him on very visible franchises in large media markets. I'm not sure it's all about football with him anymore
I noticed you have renounced your Cardinals fandom. When did this happen and who are you trying out next?
Yeah, other than the OL, I didn’t think that offense was that bad. He makes it seem like they have huge problems to fix
That article seemed to suggest a lot of this isn't about football anymore. At least in the sense of winning being the most important thing.
And immediately got another job in Jacksonville. Guy is absolute trash as a coach, but keeps getting chances because he's got the right name and knows the right people
There you have it. The chain of events that ultimately lead to Pete Carroll coaching at Nebraska, as I predicted in 2003.
Seattle “look we aren’t shopping him but we are actively calling other teams and inquiring on what deals could be made. But we aren’t shopping him”
