If Flood isn't named coach in 2012, we might lose Huggins, hard to say. I think all the idiots like Boggs, Stephenson, and Barnwell don't get into as much trouble and our secondary isn't royally fucked. Peele is probably destined to be a flake. Players like Longa stay for their senior year, Shuler doesn't transfer. I think we land JGH, Blacknall, Hilliman, PJ Walker, DJ Moore, Dorian Johnson, Garrett Sickels, Eli Apple, Gerald Owens, Adonis Jennings, Darius Slade, David Njoku, and Dontae Strickland. I think we still lose Skai Moore and probably Saquon, but would have had a decent chance at Juwon Johnson. I also think we do way better with 2016 then we closed, but it's hard to prove that. Obviously not all of those players panned out, but it would have been way better than the utter garbage Flood replaced them with.
I've complained about this before, but the BTN Plus games are such bullshit. Even when we were terrible we were at least on MSG+ or some other local channel. Great exposure for the team when you have to have a subscription to watch.
This game would have been radio only had this been at the tail end of our time in the big east. In fact, a lot of these crappy pre-conference games were radio only just a few years ago. Btn plus is not ideal but it’s still better than it was.

Rutgers lost a tough one tonight. The ref blew one match single handedly. They were clearly out of the ring and he still awarded Iowa a takedown. Richie Lewis wrestled up @ 165 and was beat by a freshman - there were two long breaks in that match because the ref fucked up a couple calls and whoever was manning the clock must have been drunk. Also Rhazonn got pinned in the first period for the the second match in a row. Yea I know they're Iowa but it's still tough to swallow when it was within reach.
The one thing I will say is gross did wrestle a bear so it’s hard to win when the odds are against you. Seriously though their heavy weight made it look like a child wrestling a grown ass man

we better hire a qb coach/Co-OC/Passing coordinator this winter...if we dont, with kills health history (apparently hes still weighing whether he wants to come back or retire) and the fact theres a chance he could go down mid season, it will be inexcusable. hoping for a new WR coach and possible new DL coach depending how we finish. Burnham is the boy at the dance every girl talks to but doesnt dance with.
I would be ok if we got a new DL coach and WR coach. Kill is a good mentor but I never trusted his health. We need to hire someone on the offensive side of the ball who can help with passing concepts because Kill’s were the worst I’ve seen at RU. His health has always been a major concern to me.
Ash is super tight with Burnham and I thought they played fine. The WR sucked of course, but how do we know that wasn't partially Kill, partially them being freshmen?
no doubt burnham seems to get the guys ready for gameday, but recruiting...when there is a serious chance you can lose banks to temple and mimes to uconn, there is trouble. hopefully we just close on both..
I don’t think Banks is good. He just seems like a big body. I think Mimes or Mercier could grow into an interior guy.
Hopefully we can add Dotson..if we can't I'd still add Robinson unless he's some sort of behavior issue. I have a feeling he is. But we have woods Eddie and Jalen soon as new pass catching threats. I do like that Jalen would probably enroll early
Kenny Atkinson da gawd No but seriously his player development has been outstanding. RHJ is miles better than he was last year. Dinwiddie is making the loss of Lin/Russell seem not that drastic. He has a historic ast to turnover ratio. Levert stepping up as well. Basically guys have stepped up and the style of play makes it so they are never relying on any one player. Its a really fun team to watch.
It's a really fun team to watch. They will win 35 games max but at least they'll have some assets, and it'll be fun to see if/when Russell and Okafor start playing.
Hoping we keep it close and competitive today. Seton hall is really good and Delgado should be an all american

At the 8 minute mark, we’re down 3 and playing incredibly hard, but starting to look incredibly tired. Our guys are going to have to dig deep down the stretch.
