Confident in saying we will not win another game this year...I hate being so pessimistic but it's the truth.
Bolin literally just threw it to the guy in front of him. No plan at the end there..really inexcusable. You go for it early on 4th down but not with 5 min left in the 4th? What the fuck were they thinking. Said we'd see lewis. Saw no Lewis. Even after a miserable game by bolin. That nebraska qb was awful and he managed to be better than bolin. Just awful. "Oh shit we got the ball back with 2 min left cause we punted. Let's run vanilla so bolin doesn't look bad. Oops he just threw it right to someone."
I’m not upset with the loss. Ash needs to grow a set, D needs to learn how to get the fuck off the field, offense needs to learn how to convert 3rd and short and special teams needs to work on tackling people. Never thought this was a Win, just hate the roller coaster
Well the defense had no chance to catch their breath. I know they couldn't stop them on 3rd but seriously the ToP was so fucking lopsided.
it's obvious at this point that we are looking at another 1-11 or 2-10 season. I can't help but think that the athletic department watched the positive reaction the basketball team received after still finishing in last place, yet showed improvement and won a game in the B1G tournament, and applied a similar strategy to football this year. I fully expect to see twitter graphics after this season about how we moved up X number of spots in points against, time of possession, etc - even though we will still be in the bottom half of FBS teams. basketball at least managed to be in the top 10 of some rebounding statistics for a good portion of the season. football has NOTHING to hang their hat on, but we will hear all off-season about the improvement from year 1 to year 2, and then the inevitable comparisons to Schiano's first few seasons. i still can't believe we punted under 4 minutes down 10. we didnt even have all of our time outs at that point. that, along with the 'punting-inside-the-opponents-35' BS has got to stop. all that is is a recipe for losing to EASTERN MICHIGAN at home. we play a style with absolutely no margin for error, yet we have seen untimely penalties kill us time and time again. i guess i should just shut up and be happy because we didnt lose by 70, though i'm sure ash would have let mehringer try his best to beat his ncaa record for punts if he were still around. i truly feel bad for all those that work in the ticket office and fundraising offices because their jobs are going to be impossible. me and my piddly priority point total will be parking in the scarlet lot pretty soon if this keeps up.
The results so far are sad, but we have gotten better. Just so far to go, and Ash's mistakes last year exacerbated things. Like, we'd be in a smaller hole if he never hired that dipshit Mehringer.
Someone needs to buy Ash Madden so he can play a few examples of how to manage a game and win himself. I feel like some of these things that can be improved are glaringly obvious
Saw Pikiell and the team running Tunnel to Towers today. Asked Pikiell "NIT this year?" He smiled, shook his head and said "Just the NIT?" Cool story bra
It's sad but I could imagine a scenario where his ego was big enough declare anyway and go undrafted. He'd have plenty of highlights of him getting beat by the nobodies he was covering vs Nebraska and emu
i really hope we see gio in this game vs ohio state..we're gonna be down early and i doubt bolin is going to be doing good things. it will be the perfect time to see if gio can add any spark.
It isn't surprising that Julie Hermann was a Trainwreck..she was emulating athletic department that was out of control and she didn't waste time throwing ours out of control with what's happening in the program as well
Bieng cheap on the precipice of a B1G invite is going to haunt us for years. Last years class was a lot better than this one so maybe theyre right Henry also seemed like he was a good recruiter.
The 24 hours that changed Rutgers football history | Remembering the day Greg Schiano left http://www.nj.com/rutgersfootball/i...tgers_football_history.html#incart_river_home Riveting. Also, I fucking hate Gary Nova.
I still remember the second I found out. I was sitting in Advanced Accounting. Kid behind me checked his phone and was like wtf Schiano left? The professor legit stopped the class because he didn't believe it was true.
Holy fucking shit we just got zamar wise to commit. HUGE start to 2019..he can get others. Offers from Miami, Mizzou etc
I haven't watched his film yet but from an optics POV that's a great start for 2019 and important for Ash. He needs to continue recruiting well.
