To our visitors: This is why we were ready to set the whole AD on fire if they didn't get him back. This is why Tennessee is a laughable fan base and institution.
Anyone know what’s up with our women’s schedule? One game against Monmouth and then nothing for two weeks?
Mrs. Gleeson = football guy Sean Gleeson stayed with his son for the first few hours of his life and then, around 1:30 a.m., Lauren cemented herself in Rutgers lore with this demand: “Would you go win the damn game now?!”
We haven't looked great tonight but a few positive takeaways from the first few games: 1) Cliff makes our squad so much better. Last year Myles would get into foul trouble way too often and our bigs behind him weren't B1G quality. Myles not having to play so many minutes have allowed him not to get so gassed and his minutes are now all impactful. 2) Another point on Myles, he's really seemed to focus on getting better at avoiding fouls while still playing good interior defense in the off-season. 3) Jacob Young and Ron Harper have taken a big step forward this year. Both are playing with a ton of confidence and have been really smart with the ball in their hands. 4) We still look like a ranked team despite playing without our best player. Getting Geo back healthy will be key to winning vs some of our best opponents, but it's reassuring to see us continue to play at high level without him. A real testament to Pike's system and his ability to develop players. Imagine us losing Corey Sanders or Quincy Douby in the past and still looking good, never would've happened.
unfortunately, we needed mcconnell to take on some of yeboah's minutes. palmquist will need to grow up quick. what a weird and terrible game. 9:30 start with both teams missing key players. 3 tv timeouts in 45 seconds followed by a weak flagrant foul review. regardless, still feels good to beat cuse for the first time in forever.
