Still don't get how a guy who showed up for 2 months gets voted captain. Either he has tremendous leadership skills or we we were severely lacking in that department. Gladly take some talent at QB anyway we can get it though.
#Rutgers Scarlet Knights SamHellman 30719 posts Aug 20, 10:25 AM Here is my updated depth chart projection (Rutgers does not release one, so I'll give you my best take on it) for Washington week. A comma separates ones and twos while a slash represents an "or." QB: Kyle Bolin, Giovanni Rescigno (Lewis in a Tylin Oden kind of role to start) RB: Gus Edwards/Robert Martin, Josh Hicks/Trey Sneed/Raheem Blackshear FB: Max Anthony, Jim Brady WR: Janarion Grant, Hunter Hayek WR: Damon Mitchell, Everett Wormley/Jay Harris WR: Bo Melton, Dacoven Bailey TE: Jerome Washington, Myles Nash (others will play, all four are semi-starters depending on the package). LT: Tariq Cole, Sam Vretman LG: Dorian Miller, Nick Krimin C: Jonah Jackson, Mike Maietti RG: Marcus Applefield, Zach Venesky RT: Kamaal Seymour, Micah Clark DE: Kevin Wilkins/Darnell Davis (depending on formation), Jimmy Hogan/Willington Previlon DT: Jon Bateky, Julius Turner NT: Sebastian Joseph, Eric Wiafe JACK - Kemoko Turay, Elorm Lumor SLB: Eric Margolis/Ross Douglas (depending on formation), Olakunle Fatukasi MLB: Deonte Roberts, Tyshon Fogg WLB: Trevor Morris, Brandon Russell CB: Blessuan Austin, Damon Hayes CB: Isaiah Wharton, Kobe Marfo S: Saquan Hampton, Zane Campbell/Naijee Jones S: Kiy Hester, KJ Gray
Out of the freshmen, it might sound weird as it's not flashy, but I really can't wait to see Vretman play. All that guy's tapes look like he's playing against the junkie who impregnated his kid sister.
Also, apparently we have TWO commits that have yet to be announced. Looks like one will be revealed today and another in the next day or so. Anyone have any deets?
Hello folks. Just dropping in to let y'all know the season tickets have gone out. Enjoy! :: unwatch thread ::
Not a fan right now. Think he'll be a DT but was not impressed with his junior tape. Will reserve judgement until Dec/Feb. King is a nice grab. Good burst, nice frame to work with.
The kid was loved here. Lamar Jackson gave him a ton of credit for getting him into the playbook. He's a smart kid but has a really weak arm....kind of an Alex Smith.
King is a great pickup. Just a natural athlete. I don't dislike Thomas as much because he looks like he is a pretty aggressive player and has some athleticism. But I agree that his future will probably be at DT and he is raw as all hell at the moment. My biggest worry is if he can get to DT weight because he is fairly muscular at 235 but I think he could probably hit 280.
I didn't even realize that this was the new one. Muchos gracias. Yeah, that Denver kid has a nice reel.
Damn, Johnathan Taylor (former RU RB commit) is gonna start for Wisky as a true freshman. Really could've used this kid... http://host.madison.com/wsj/sports/...cle_b83c7d2a-4c22-5da2-8745-57e7f4318652.html
A true freshman walk on long snapper beats out a 3 year starting scholarship long snapper previously recruited by Kyle Flood and Tariq Ahmad. Another stellar evaluation by those two... SIX starters on this team are grad transfers. Crazy.
